Hey guys, as you've noticed I haven't frequently updated you guys with vods for a long time now. But I figured it get's awfully boring if I post like 1 FPVod per week. Also, shame on me, I usually forget to turn my recording program on whenever I feel like playing :/
But today, I managed to record a quite okay game on ICCup. It's a B- vs B- TvP, playing out on Rush Hour III! Figured I'd post it because RH3 is a relatively old map and there hasn't been many FPVods of it released.
It's kind of intense, or was for me while playing it, but it might not look so intense. RH3 is kind of unique in a way, you can't really move out with your 200/200 army and just engage the protoss. They always have the ability to counter, and their expos are not easily destroyed (the choke ones).
Haven't really played a whole lot of ICCup recently, the weather was great for 4-5 days (it's been awful in sweden this summer) so I was out a lot. After that, I went to denmark for a couple of days to party some with my closest friends. This because school starts soon, and we wanted to do one last thing before weekends become a blessing again.
Also, whenever I have been playing I've done so on europe, and sometimes on an account that I share with anoter swedish bw-player. ICCup account that is.
But, enough ranting about things that don't really matter

quick question, why go 11rax 11gas? does skipping the scv worth it?

I think it's just a matter of preference really. Actually I go 12/12 when I do the gas + rax build at the same time.

I go 11/11 when I feel that I want to wall-in
Going 12/12 when you want to wall-in delays the wall so much that there's a bigger risk that the probe will enter. Therefor I opt for the 11/11 if i'm walling in.
If I go 12/12 it's usually when I don't wall-in.
Benefits with 11/11 is that you'll get a faster factory, 12/12 better economy boost in the beginning.

hey thanks a lot for making these ^^ i've only watched a couple but it's very nice to see a decent level player show his FPVod and give a commentary of his thought process!
edit: just wondering but did you take down some of the older ones from your filefront account? are you planning to put them back up?

Thanks a lot for doing this, these commentaries help so much in a way that replays can't. Just started getting into these after I saw Chill's TvZ commentary. Thanks again, hope to see more in the future so I can learn more from a fellow T player.
By the way, perhaps for old vods you could throw them on youtube or perhaps megaupload? Provided you aren't leaving them on filefront due to some space limitation.

Edit: Hmm I just noticed that on your more recent commentaries, on my computer at least, when I crank the sound up on my headphones, it's still kinda faint. It's ok though keep up the good work. I can work around this little problem

with filefront files that have streaming like this i find the streaming and the download feature to be very very slow, i have usually 250kb download speed and its giving me 20kb max for this file.
Other non streaming files give me full speed, am i the only one having this problem?
I'd love to see this video because i am actually interested in playing terran but it will take 2 hours or so at this speed.
If you have time could you upload it to another mirror like megaupload or similar.

Camtasia recorder for recording the actual game.
Virtualdub to compress the videos afterwards.

More merz vods plz! That is if you feel up to it and have the time. I've really enjoyed what you posted and I along with many others have learned alot from them. I'd really appreciate it if you could give us some new material merz, we love it!
