You know who I'm talking about, its GomTV GSL leagues. We are 2015, there are stream of 1080p and 60frames on youtube and other sites popping up, yet we have GomTV GSL thinking its okay to have 360p stream and requiring you to pay for anything more than the worst!
I'm sorry, but I'm just not going to watch you at all, with so many organizations providing free 720p stream on Twitch(source quality), 1080p 60fps on youtube, you are stuck in 2006/7 where the maximum quality was 480p, but it also cost tons of money for the kind of bandwith that today you could got through a normal $40 dollar internet service!
Especially in South Korea where the internet is super fast and cheap as well, where your average internet service can easily support ultra HD streaming and way more to be providing 360p eye destroying service!
I'm not even watching SC2 too much anymore, here and there, final here, final there, with stupid 360p restrictions making it more easy to me NOT to watch. I'd go watch Dota 2 or Hearthstone who have 10x to 20x better production value, better quality, better value for me.
GSL is ruining SC2, their practices are at least a decade outdated. Instead of SC2 to be a leader in terms of Esports, with organizations like Gom its the last!

I doubt they see a big difference in the numbers by changing the quality.
Furthermore the ad revenues they get from the foreign scene is probably terrible and it makes more sense to get a few bucks from people buying subs.

LOL. I was watching SC1 tournament since 2007 little kiddie. Even in 2007 we had 480p videos, almost a decade later Gom are still running 360p videos and lower.

I'm sure Gom will notice your not-viewing-their-stream. They'll scratch their heads wondering where that one viewer went.
You do realise they are by no means obliged to give you that content, right? You're getting something for free, if you don't like it then don't take it.
And the technical point "its 2015 why such a low resolution" does not hold. The fact that it's technically possible to have better stream quality does not force them to give it to you for free. It's technically possible to give everyone a free donut with their starbucks coffee. But they don't. Are you bothered by that as well?
SC2 content has been free for so long, people start to forget it takes money to organise all those tournaments.
