You know how peoples right "loose" often when they mean "lose", and vise versa. And plenty of other similar sounding/spelling words that people mix up that are annoying or just downright confusing? And remember how people would often say "Star Craft Brood wars" instead of just "Broodwar". It's sort of silly expecially when you think about it.
Well something that happens alot is people say "Masters" or "Grandmasters" leagues when it is just 'Master' or "Grand Master". Stop putting the s on the end. It sounds like a last name: Ken Masters. It also sounds stupid and noobish.
I mean it's won thing when people type the wrong words on the internets, but when you have to hear people say it (supposably respected people as well), on podcasts or videos it gets under your skins.
lol, if you're going to whine you should at least be right. The way you phoneticized nony is wrong; ew=/=oo.
It actually is what I said, find an instance where Nony himself says it. I heard him say it earlier tonight on SOTG

That would be Master's or Masters' League then right? More often then not though, people will be just saying stuff like "I got into Masters" or "Masters players don't do that" type of stuff. Even if we were to take the possessive line, how come no one is then saying Diamond's, or Bronzes'. It's wrong. It would however be correct to omit 'players', and say; "Masters don't do that."
Okay, here's one that a LOT of casters are starting to use lately. They use the expression "anti-timing".
For example, they might say the sentence: "This is a perfect anti-timing for Taeja to hit! Taeja has 2/2 and his opponent has 1/1! A wonderful anti-timing!"
But what they really mean to say is that it's a TIMING. Not an ANTI-TIMING. Just a plain ol' regular TIMING. Taeja has the TIMING to attack at 2/2 vs. his opponent's 1/1.
An ANTI-TIMING would be if Taeja were 1/1 attacking his opponent's 2/2 just 20 seconds before his own 2/2 would finish. That would be an anti-timing because it's hurting Taeja to attack when he's attacking, so it's bad. When expressing that an attack someone is making is good, then it's just a TIMING.
This is irritating me more and more as its use becomes more mainstream in all these casts I see.
People that type "should of" instead of "should have" then berate me for my poor England skills because I chose to stuff my text full of double entendres.
