That's what Take was trying to do and all he wished for.

Then this gets blown way out of proportion like a bunch of six year olds. Genna quit's over some silly drama(maybe just looking for an exscuse to get out anyway) Take overreacts to some silly skype logs and then TB goes of the rails as usual and starts throwing insults around.
This is hurting e-sports etc but really, this is just a bunch of people being very unprofessional and messing up in a lot of aspects.
I agree with this POV, it's pretty mindboggling that this is essentially a simple misunderstanding and it has blown up to this.

Whatever happens I'd say both parties made mistakes. But I feel like Axiom is kinda making a drama, and TakeTV did nothing wrong tbh. I wouldn't like it either when my private convo's get put online etc.

Nice Statement TaKe!
TotalBiscuit - Subscribed ---> Not.

Wow. Those poor Axiom players. First they have to deal with Jessica and her passion for public shitfests and after that, they get on a team that is run by an incompetent manager who wants to only be praised by the community and never sticks up to her mistakes. And on top of that they are financed by one of the most toxic figures in this community. It seems those guys cant catch a breake. I really hope the players of Axiom can get on a better team with a stable managment and enjoy their career as players.

Sad to see a Good Bye Thread with mix of manipulation going on. Btw I dont read why you are going? Do you have to go because Axiom Sponsors dont want you? Learn of your mistakes and keep going you can just improve on this.
Is it a Baby break? If yes gratz! Just plz dont let the kid get TB Hair
ps: holy crap take postet a statement.

Good Statement by TaKe.
Dont understand why they are pushing this soo hard. No Reason.
Looks like Genna wants a shitstorm. Soo sad

Every German in this thread backing up their e-sports hero. How i'm not surprised.
This is the best fucking response i've seen in this thread for a while. Exactly my thoughts and thanks for saying it.

So both sides made mistakes ... but one side did nothing wrong?

Now prepare (if it has not already happened) for drama from TB for more reddit and YT views. Every time when I think that I read the wrongest post possible, another one is right there which is even worse.
As Axiom team owner, Genna did more for Starcraft in a day that you will do in your life.

Yes, both sides did mistakes, but not everyone wanted this drama and it certainly wasn't necessary to publish private chats. I think Genna overreacted, but whatever she seems to be kind of emotional (similar to Jessica I guess).

Completely lost my respect for TaKe and will be avoiding his events from hereon in. Some transparency is good in a startup industry and in an e-Sport, fans should know if there are issues like this, threatening to sue for someone revealing truths to fans is just low. Axiom qualified 2nd in the group stage, was not given funds to travel and you expect them to keep it a secret without explaining to fans? I hope TaKe will take a good hard look on his own conduct, defending sponsors is no reason to act like a douche. Act like a douche? He even offered Genna to ask Acer if they could help in this situation. There is only one douche in this matter, and that's the person who writes "fuck you, take" in his twitter.
Firstly, if you organise an event as big as this and invite a team from another country how can you not take into account travel costs for them? That's bad management, from what I understood team MVP had to raise some funds to attend, they're first and have a good chance so they decided to take the risk. 4th place gives $2000 which might not even cover travel. If that was the case he shouldn't have allowed Korean teams to compete.
Secondly, ok he offered to pay for travel? In the end was it enough? No, Axiom had to pull out. MVP tried to raise funds and takes a risk. Refer to first point, lack of foresight, TaKe has to take responsibility.
Thirdly, he threatened to sue because someone revealed what he said? Why is it that it has to be a secret? Protecting sponsors is fine but rather than trying to fix stuff he goes aggressive, hardly kind.
You can't blame me for losing my respect for that guy as an organiser, I knew of a TaKe with plenty of credibility hosting events but this is one too many scandal and I refer to Axiom (a small privately owned team) having to pull out this way + threat of legal action is just douchey in my books.

Her leaving Axiom is a defeated for herself. Winner's don't give up, and try to do their best. In this case doing her atmost best is communicating with you about a good solution.
Like I said at her post "Winners gain from pain", and "Losers quit". She should have just continued, not left her team (which was the most terrible decision she could made) and the most important thing: show something to the community. I think the biggest mistake she made was just leaving her team, which is "very bad" for the community itself.
I hope she will apologize to her team and to the community, and will make a solution together with you which will benefit both you, axiom, taketv and the community.
Those are my words, based on the information sources that you both shared with the community, and based on trust from the words spoken. It is my opinion based on that, and this information might not be 100% true, if one of you told a different story from the trueth.

Ok so I stumbled on this. "GLHF" the title is. Seemed more like a Ragequit to me.
(Worst part is Take complaining about private conversation disclosures in a private conversation and Genna publishing this very conversation as a retirement gift)
|
Khai just to make one thing sure cause otherwise its getting into a wrong direction.
MVP knew for a very long time and even then signed up. They knew they have to pay the trips by themselfs mostly but even them i paid more hotelrooms cause they had to pay the trips and asked to work together on it and find solutions.
They had this plan i guess since a long plan to get money with the thing they did.

Honestly... not every german. I am american livin in germany and working for a german software company as a manager. To be completely clear on this: I am in no way backing up take for what he said... It's just a miserable childish practise to release private chats.
This is what destroys this community. You can't even trust a business partner.
For me it means: My company can't invest in SC2 as a sponsor because you never know what is released to the public with guys like TB and Genna. And I don't care if she did much for esports... This is about trust. And if trust is lost... you loose everything. It's a shame really to see a soap opera like this happen. Fact is: It most of the time happens as soon as TB is involved. It seems he likes the drama. Also the way he is critizising blizzard as a company for the way they managed WCS. It doesn't matter if he is correct or not. It matters how he approaches the problems. And he and also Genna are continously doing it in an unprofessional way: meaning going public.

As usual there are three sides to this story, yours, mine and the truth.
As usual the truth lies somewhere between yours and mine. It looks like, to me, at least, mistakes have been made by all parties involved. And we will never know all the details, nor should we expect to.
It would be awesome if Genna/TB and Dennis could put these petty differences and emotional vitriol aside and get together and talked this through, like the adults and pillars of this scene they profess to be. Maybe as others have suggested with a moderator. (Looking at you for this, Nazgul)
I love you Genna, but you shouldn't have posted those emails and skype logs. Dennis, you produce great content, but threatening legal action like that is not going to get you anywhere.
At the end of the day I'll continue to support my favorite team, Axiom, and watch the great tournaments hosted by TakeTV.
