I want for all to know of this. The great sacrifice at worlds end. The due that was to be paid for all time. The ends must be met and so they shall. What one could have given for the masses has not been given. But this hand must be dealt to one at some point. So shall you accept this hand? Shall you bet and hope for a better one? Will you simply hold and forfeit your chance for glory?
The universe is simply a game of cards, and we have few options. You can bet and raise, taking the riskier path and try for a better future than you have. But why, when you simply know you are almost certainly going to fail. You could call, drifting through life as most do, not taking chances and only going along through your life until it ends. Few do, but folding is always and option to you. Giving up you simple life to be done with it once and for all.
Life continues and the world grows older and darker, the world grows cold and comes closer to It’s ultimate end. So who shall take that hand, the cards never accepted before? If it were to be you, what would you do with them?

Well there's risky and then there's being stupid. I'm not sure where your poker metaphor draws that line. I think playing it mostly safe but making smart, calculated risks is best. Go figure...

It is like this, lets say you start out with $100. Every round to call, would only cost you dollar. By calling you always lose. In life you always lose. YOU ALWAYS DIE! So by betting you would then spend your money faster therefore being done with the game much faster then if you were to call. Now it is true that you catch a break every once and a while, but more times than not, life is negative and you have negative things to deal with. The chances of you betting your money at the right time is so low, it is almost predetermined that you will lose, making it a bad choice to bet at anytime. by betting more you would then run out of money faster, this is like making a mistake in life trying to get ahead, like starting a business and having it fail. When you fail at something and have more stress in your life you life gets shorter, it is a scientific fact that people who are stressed out more are less healthy and live shorter lives. So betting makes you run out of 'money' or years of your life faster, than just calling. Now about folding, you lose out on your chance to play your hand, but you don't have to endure it either.
