So about that
I realize this isn't the best place to post this. But who knows
Heres the thing is. I'm well versed in how to act and who to contact in the DNB scene (170bpm)
I've got plenty of channels to push my 170 stuff through, radiostations (bassdrive.com for example, the biggest online dnb radio, did label art for their label for 1,5 years), DJs, several labels, all that. But my passion towards making 170 is at an all time low right now. Got plenty of followers and all that jazz, so great stuff would catch fire, so to say D:
But
I'm now trying to branch out into a more downtempo suit, pinging between 100 and 160bpm, with various influences, from Orbital to BoC, with a clear affinity towards broken beats and attaching that to a whole new alias that only a handful of my friends know about.
In the midst of creating a 4-track EP and a 30-60minute mix to go with it
of some ambient-ish downtempo electronica
and whatnot.
Yet i have hardly any contacts in the scene, who to push my music to, who to hassle, heckle and harass.
So I'll probably end up pushing this through bandcamp, on my own and see what happens.
Planning to put together a proper live set as well, should this project catch on.
So I thought id post a sample of it here
What do you guys think
Also, what it makes you feel like. I always love to hear how people make connections regarding to different backgrounds, personas and tracks. Genuinely fascinating stuff.
:F
(thinly veiled jab at HAI GUJS WHADDYA THINK OF MAH TRACK, with a sophisticatedly yearning twist on it. yeah.)
also, i'll probably add more stuff to the OP, sleep deprivation is a bitch.
