Ok now I saw it on Sayle's stream and now, in context of the entire game, it made sense that it was just a failure and not fully on purpose like the title suggests. | ||

He was constantly attacked from different angles by Flying and still Jaedong held it together with almost half of his units being stuck on that ramp, being useless. LOL | ||

The drones were blocking the units from getting to their rally point outside the natural. Jaedong didn't realise as he was just macroing and dealing with harrass for 5 or so minutes. The units just kept building up and it's not like pros spend time looking at their own ramp in 4 base macro mode. His supply was also spread out defending at different spots on the map so he couldn't immediately tell his army was smaller than it should've been. He was in tears after the game. I'm guessing his pride couldn't handle such a public mistake. edit: people already explained. I was really worried he would gg without ever realising it. | ||

Also, i don't understand why anyone could think this was on purpose. If Jaedong just wanted to hold his army back, he would just have rallied them at the base of the ramp. | ||
