(Rewrite version) Going back this is actually the oldest Visual Novel sitting in my drive. I dropped it a while ago because I couldn't understand Japanese, (read: 6 years ago) Going back this is pretty nostalgic.
Duel Savior is a Eroge, that is like a Street fighter-ish game. The fighting mechanic is quite simple. Since Gameplay is really the lesser aspect of VNs, Story is the most important element after all. You have everything RPG needs A Mage A Cleric =>That can't heal...LOL An Archer A Rogue type character A Warrior and ....ahem... an Undead-ish....warrior type? character.
Now the premise is pretty much generic. Two modern world High school students sent to fantasy world type plot. In this case it would the be Taiga (read: You) and Mia ( your half sister) Half for legal reasons, after all, no blood relation means full clearance for romance. @ the new world you meet the other heroines Lily Sheerfield-Tsundere mage, she is also very very proud and arrogant, she reminds you of the banshee in red health that says "if i micro perfectly, I won't die" Which leads her to be the victim of various unfavorable situations...(read H Scenes) Spam Ice spell. The End, She's like... Marauder...with concussive and stim...that has Siege Tank splash..... Berio Trope-A Priest, I can't really say what it is....chara wise A good Juggler no Rico level Think of her as...idk nothing comparable....
Kaede-A Ninja, she calls you shishou, She's blood-phobic. What's better than Ninja power with RAIDINSHOUUUUUU
Rico-Loli Summoner, reserved for Ferrose, Juggler, a lot of air time, stun locks you for the longest time >.<" Think of her as force fields + Psistorm in one package. Oh yeah if you clitch her Book Summoning she becomes incredibly Broken, like Mass Colossus that can attack air type of broken.
Nanashi-Genki undead, I am not into necrophilia....-.-" Ridiculously Overpowered with her Undead powers, She will throw he head at you, it will explode, you will die, she will take no damage.
Mia-Your Half Sister, Incestrously in love with you, Also a YANDERE, also an archer, in terms of gameplay she's is pretty OP though. Mia is practically a Speed Vulture, That's Also a Siege Tank Oh yeah one more thing, Mia is a bitch, she's also possessive as hell, and that's why I hate her, Because everybody hates her, and that she's a psycho
Move sets Arrow keys for movement zxc for attacks and evasion.
What is the deal with this damn secret font? Are some people actually able to read it or is the joke that it just shows up as the squares for everyone? =/

It's not that way for me. It's most likely that your computer doesn't have the necessary font or whatever installed. This "secret font" is basically just English in big characters, nothing special.

First Visual Novel I've read I must say..．. It's quite Nostalgic going back to a Visual Novel I read before I was able to comprehend Japanese at all.... Which I can now at a basic basic level... Duel Savior is a Fighting－Like, RPG、That's a Eroge. Now When I Ｓａｙ Eroge it means that compared to the other VNｓ I been reading．．．．This one is alot of Sex, not nukige type sex but just alot of H-Scenes so much that I can't stream it．Well I take it back.... This game is pretty sex heavy....at least more so than every other Non Alicesoft ( LOL RANCE, You're the best ） Visual Novel I been reading The game is still good. Regardless Hentai or not, it's fun gameplay, decent storyline, and a great VN for its time. The game is pretty well done though The game starts with the main chara． he’ｓ Taiga. The Shujinko, or the Main Character. Now he has a HALF Sister, Mia. Emphasis on half because that's the cop out that the story line is going to use to steer away from the incest taboo factor, if you try to chase the Mia route. The rule is no Blood Relation = Full Clearance. LOL So both of you get sent to Ｔｈｉｓ school, Messiah Academy of sorts to become like RPG Heroes. It's been a long time since i've last read the story so the reread is gonna be the same as reading it for the first time. I already got the game mechanics though.
I'll keep the OP Updated with my reading progress.
btw Mia is a Yandere, she reminds me of Kotonaha from School Days....Hell she even looks exactly like her.....

Engrish'd I think, though this was a sufficiently old enough game that it could've been actually half sister and that Blast just fucked up reading, won't be the first time

I am pretty sure it said half sister, since her class title was half sibling
So in Justice, apparently there was a harem route, where we found out that the two are in fact related by blood. Just that it was never specific about how exactly they are related.

Since team Baldrhead moved onto actually making Baldr games again though, there hasn't been anything new for this series so no idea if that's canon or just some random one time thing.
