SC Battle Report: Epic TvP

My main is not this scum race that is called Protoss. To put it simply, imba race from the initial annoying probe scout, gas steals, tier 1 basic units with over 9000 hp which eat your 40 hp marines for breakfast, dt rushes, arbiters (example: freezing my entire army or base with op spells). oh did i also say carriers? :<

Meanwhile, I realize that something is wrong. I decide to go for a 5 fact timing push where he is weak. And this is the result:




I push into his main pretty easily and I think that I have this won. I don't know why he hasn't left yet but I expected it soon. But the problem was that I did not know he had 2 mining bases at 12 and 4.


After I scan, I see this and realize "oh fuck" I quickly go to 12 to try and destroy the stargates hitting a critical mass of carriers.


This shuttle was key. It ferried the probes from 12 to the island expos. Does Protoss get any sneaker than this? lol





Then with the few carriers that the Protoss has, he attempts to harrass my main base.


I realize that he has 4 now but carriers are fighting on a good spot vs the goliaths. Fuck high ground.


I break into 4, but in exchange he kills my main.


My base is getting destroyed so I have to retreat my factories


Meanwhile I take 3 and 12 naturals lol~


along with some starports n stuff


I realize I can't do shit about the islands because of carriers.

I felt like playing weird so I made valkyries because I had so much minerals.




Eventually it turns out into a valkyrie/goliath vs corsair/carrier combination. Weird especially in TvP lol


The carrier count is overwhelming though :\


Lose the remainder of my valkyries to sairs

At least I took out his island during this battle. The fight is still not over however as he has started 9 o clock.

Normally I hate losing (who doesn't?) but this was a game that I legitimately enjoyed despite the outcome. Post some of your good/unorthodox games in this thread please! :D
