[BW] Battle Report - C rank recelebration

The game opens up on the map Longinus. A great 3 player map from the age of the dragons.


The game opens up with my opponent spawning in the 11 position and Me spawning at 7. He opens with a 9 scout and a 1 gate no gas opening


Meanwhile, i 12 nex, because 12 nex pvp is pretty cool.


He expands after 1 zealot, minimising my economic advantage from the 12 nex and manages to get 2 probe kills with his first zealot due to my fail probe micro.


I do the standard 5 zealot push from a 12 nex and get in a really great position, then decide to pull back. My zealots were damaged, but his were almost dead, if i'd pressed with the attack i could've done alot more damage, but i killed a couple of probes, so i'm left with a slight economic advantage after the openings.


We both go for DT followups, but i have my army out of position and he sneaks a DT into my main, which kills my nexus before i can get some detection in range


The he storm drops my nat with all my probes at it, dropping me down to about 15 or so probes and 1 nexus


I'm forced into a counter attack, where i level his army and do some significant eco damage, but not really enough to level the game, and i'm dropped to 35 supply


He storm drops again even after i have cannons in position, and i'm really low on probes at this point. meanwhile we've both taken a double gas expansion


And more storm drops are causing my probe count to dwindle. Luckily my macro is slightly better than his meaning i'm not irrevocably behind yet.


He then uses 3 shuttles to ferry units into my double gas and takes out the nexus but i was just taking another two nexus's and claiming the important double gas expansion between our mains.


I did some storm drops of my own and clear his double gas of probes as well!


And more storm drops hit my second double gas, and almost 20 minutes into the game i'm still frantically producing probes out of 4 nexii ><

I finally go in for a battle, and we trade armies off, but i'm still about 10 supply behind.


He comes in for even MORE storm drops (i was stressing pretty hard at this point) but i managed to juke his storms and take out his templars with my probes ^_^ I'm sure those little guys felt good getting a bit of revenge.


So he decides to take the natural of the unclaimed main, while i take the main, both unknown to each other


Another huge battle in the middle, and i manage to come out a bit ahead this time, and i've almost equalised the supplies!


Transferring probes: a valid method of expansion scouting. (Hillariously 3 of the probes made it through).


I throw my army into the cannons, refusing to let him take another gas


He takes out my mineral only and i give chase!


I catch up to his forces fleeing from my mineral only and many storms ensue


But my forces get taken out


He then moves and takes out the contentious double gas expansion


And still continues to storm drop my expansions, much to the dismay of my probes


However, i finally managed to spend my gas excess....on ARCHONS! Balls of death going everywhere! rawr!!


And GG, I come from behind and am victorious!!
