Didn't really enjoy LoL, it felt like watered down DotA... though AP was pretty nice idea. Used to play decent amount of DotA, transferred to HoN due reconnect and less leavers (because I didn't have active team in any league or anything) and it has one of the best ratios with cost/time spent of all the games I've played. Currently playing it once in a while, started to play Bloodline Champions more actively and waiting for DotA 2 to show up and check out the supposed improvements and system they have prepared for it. Which reminds me, HoN devs still haven't put out the supposed map editor... hopefully someone manages to port pudge wars if it ever gets out (though hook animation might require tweaking for that). | ||

There is limited reconnect now a days in several DotA leagues. 120 seconds you can directly reconnect (players can drop you as soon as you start lagging). Then there is the save and hope everybody can rejoin option as well. ^^ (First option being mostly the same as sc2, the second option not in it.) | ||

LoL was developed with a very similiar background, but in all honesty the game has maybe 1mil players to dota's 10+. | ||

SC2 is a pretty great game, but the competitive scene is what makes it truly amazing. Watching the GSL is my favouritest thing ever, and that makes me enjoy playing it even more. DotA is an equally good game, but it's more of a casual thing. I play it when I don't feel like getting all stressed over Starcraft. DotA clones are just poor imitations that will never live up to the original. | ||

If I have to choose, I'd rather play sc2 than dota/hon/lol because on those moba or whatever you call it everyone is an ass. | ||

SC1 proleagues > rest SC2 is so boring to watch imo. 1 hour farming games not so great for viewers either. | ||

dota > dota2 since dota will always be the classic and the 'feel' from dota wont be complete transferred to dota2 imo even though i dont play LoL or HoN lol goes last since its too poor for a standalone game and they have servers that blow crashes during peak time; who wants to play a game like that | ||

For one, it lacks any replay system at all: there's no way to study an enemy's strategy in a game you got steamrolled, there's no way to go over what you did wrong, etc., etc. It's not like SC where timing of builds is paramount, to the extent that leaking replays would be incredibly beneficial/detrimental. Another thing is the lack of observer capability: as far as I know, you have to use a workaround of having it become 6v6 to actually have any obs in the game at all. Neither of these things are conducive to an eSport environment. Sure, it'll survive casually, but in terms of any sort of professional competition? I have my doubts. | ||

on a sidenote LoL has a replay system, what are you on? This poll is ridicilously stupid though, why would you compare 3 MOBA's with SC2?And where is BW? | ||
