Greetings TL, hope everyone who has/had finals is doing well.
As some of you may remember, I told my parent about my GF some time ago: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=157408
Anyhow, this break she is coming over and I am going to formally introduce her to my parents. I'm a tad nervous because well, this is the big moment of epicness. I'm pretty sure nothing terrible is going to happen, but given the circumstances it could get pretty intense in an awkward way. My cousin from China is here too and shes staying for like the entire break as well, it should add to the fun.
How have your guy/gals experiences been when you introduced your significant other to your parents?

So uh, when I first brought my boyfriend home for winter break, my dad met him on the steps of the porch while we were coming into the house.
My dad opened the door, smiled, waved us in. Then he reached down, zipped up my boyfriend's fly, kept smiling, and continued to converse normally.
It was quite horrifying.
(That being said, best of luck! I'm sure it'll be fine )

Fucking epic post. I wish I could come up with some horror story or something. My advice - just have your girlfriend try to act nicely and respectful, and its pretty hard for your parents to not respect them back.

This is the kind of blog where a reply takes the spotlight and no one cares about the OP. Your dad's pretty cool hazelynut.
Best of luck AppleTart, its gonna be fine.

epic, well good thing my dad won't do that xD!

Don't worry about it Apple. If your parents know that you really care for your girl they probably will be nervous too so THEY don't cause a bad impression on her. That's what happened when I took my GL to meet the parents. ^^
And Hazelynut: damn! :O

this reminds me of that fake mastercard commercial whre the guy has his hand on the intercom trying to get a blowjob from the girl
anyway the only time I've introduced a girl to my parents she drove over blitzed with a box of wine. I'm sure everything will be awesome.
On another note when i am graced with kids I can't wait to screw with heads of their SOs :D

Good luck! Don't be too nervous.

Wow! :O
But then again, I wonder what your dad was thinking with your bf coming over with his fly undone...

Forgot to zip up after going for a piss? I think the only one to be nervous is your gf, you, and your parents, are both at home, and should act normally.

Remember the movie Meet the Parents? Kinda like that.

back of a cop car(MIP). , then me in bed with her - buttnaked.(crawled in through her window while her parents were "asleep" ) And im the nerdiest guy ever. So it's weird She was more traumatized from the events then i am though, i kind of just shrug it off and laugh whenever i happen to remember it

You need to add an S to the end of blog in the URL, it wasn't working for me until I changed it.
I don't have parents at all, so it is hard to comment on your situation. I am guessing Asian parents are much harder to deal with in this respect than other parents.
Be cool, be cool.
