Girl blog. Flame me all you want.
Just a little about myself first. I am 18, and am currently in first year Nursing at a university in Canada. There are roughly 4 males (including myself) and 90ish females in the first year program.
Now, I've been patiently waiting, getting to know people for roughly 4-5 weeks. And during those 4-5 weeks, I got to know all of the girls that I was interested in and I got to know them fairly well. Except one. I just didn't seem to grab this girl's attention for some reason. And of course, just like any other human being, she was someone I was most interested in because it seemed like she was hard to get to.
Then stuff sort of changed at the beginning of this week. I just sort of talked to her on facebook one night, introduced myself, had a brief, meaningless conversation with her (I don't recall we even said goodbye to each other before ending the conversation). Didn't really think much of it until the next day rolled around. I was in some tutorial, packed full of people. That girl showed up, with one of her friends (who I know but barely). They sat behind me and a friend of mine because we were the only familiar faces. Then as the tutorial went on, she teased me a little, then called me "the man" out loud in class. It was kind of awkward.
Later that night, we had a lecture together. I sat at the very front of the class room. Then suddenly, I felt the need to take the biggest piss in my life. So I got up, and was on my way to exiting the class when I heard someone whisper my name. I looked, and it's that girl. So I smiled and waved back. And while in the washroom, I'm just a little confused at this point. So I go back to class, open up facebook, and see her online. So I manned up and asked her if she wanted a ride back to her res. She accepted, so I gave her and some other people a ride back. The night ended off nicely, the last thing I heard from her that night was, "you are the best!". Felt really good about that, I was smooth all night and I was excited to follow up on this the next day.
Now all this sounds good, and it just seems like I had to follow up well the next day right? Well... The next day rolled around, I felt like complete shit for some reason. I basically put a brick wall between myself and everyone else, didn't want to talk to anyone. The only interaction I had with the girl was me saying "hey" and her saluting back.
Then today. Same thing as the day before, feel like shit, brick wall etc. barely even greeted her today.
So how would I follow up on this now? This isn't exactly what I wanted to happen. I'm just a little confused as to what I could do next without feeling really awkward.

Next week just give her a really big smile and be like "HI!!!!!" (its ok to be a little exaggerated, girls love that stuff) and chat it up. Act like nothing happened.

I don't even understand your problem. You met a girl who is super friendly to you, and you felt like shit some days and weren't super friendly back. What's the problem? If anyone should be confused, it's her.
Here's a fun game to play in girl situations: Replace the girl with your close guy friend. How would you follow up? You'd probably talk to them and be like "man I've felt like shit the last couple days" and then it's business as usual. Right? Okay, do that.
I'm also guessing that you go to my university

doesn't help that you creeped around every single attractive girl for over a month. because if there's one thing a girl loves more than a guy who can't man up and make a move, it's a guy who goes up to anything with a vagina to play the numbers

Also if she's playing hard to get you can hook up with some other girls to improve your social status. Bonus points if they know each other. Since it sounds like your class is pretty small (and there are only 4 guys) word will get around pretty quick.

to contribute a little @op: sit down, or even better lie down, and just don't do anything than think hard about why you feel like shit. And most importantly, if you notice yourself starting to think of something but stopping because you say to yourself "thats bullshit" - well don't, because it's probably an ignored reason you just don't like. Those don't go away by ignoring them, that just confuses you because you don't get why stuff happens with you the way it does. You can't change those reasons unless you think consciously about them, and even then you often just have to find a way to live with them.
and another tip: don't write "girl blog" if its about you not getting why you feel shitty, that doesn't even have to do anything with that girl. This would prevent a lot of "hate" ;D Although, you explaining it that way might mean it probably does and you maybe just ignore it because you don't like it (as stated above).

She seemed nice up till yesterday. Today, I met her and 2 of our mutual friends, we barely greeted each other, she didn't engage in a conversation with me, and I just talked to the other 2 people because they were talking to me. (And I didn't want to talk so I just didn't initiate a conversation with her). Pretty much, It just felt like that one good day never happened.
EDIT: Ill just let it out. I'm terrible at talking to non-friend females.

Sounds like you are worrying over nothing. Everything seems to be going well. It's not as if you need to be constantly on. Maybe talk to her on Facebook?

You: don't talk to her

My faculty (mechanical) was 12 / ~250. That's 4.8%. I'm confident that's lower than electrical engineering. We had an off year or something.
I'm wondering if the OP goes to the Nursing / Eng parties. Does he wear the red shorts too? :D
