Clearly I'm not cut out for Toss play which requires great timing and not wasting units.
Therefore my dear friends, I'm putting 2 replays here. One as terran and one as zerg.
Can you please go through it and tell me what race you think I seem to control better (and do overall better with?). I would love advice on what I'm doing wrong as well. I can help in some way if your advice is decent and insightful (I know I'm noob, so don't go ape on that part though).

Do you want to be the one taking over the map and choking the opponent before they have the chance to amass a strong enough army to knife through your forces?
Do you want to knife through the center of the map while doing cutsey drops on enemy expansions?
For me it's the latter. Not a great way to look at it but might help lol

basically this. seems to make the most sense. i play terran only cuz i've been playing it for years, not because it's OP. also, i don't like expanding all over the map and trying to starve my enemy of expanding. i prefer the knifing with drops and stuff

^_^ passive players should go zerg, and choke people to death...passively.

You guys didn't even watch the replays did you?

As a Zerg player I can not in good conscience recommend Zerg as a race to play. You have the choice between what many believe to be the more OP race (Terran) and the most UP race (Zerg). Do yourself a favor, unless you really really love Zerg and how they play don't choose it. Unless of course you love being the underdog.
Edit: If I could do it all over again, I would choose Terran 100%.

Terran OP, you will roll protoss and zerg as T, only thing you need to worry about is TvT lol

i see lots of people who want the race they'll do best with. what you want is the race that suits your style of play/personal preference. with practice, you can get good at any of the races, but will you still be having fun if you're playing a race that's not necessarily your favourite?
protoss - focus on microable/expensive units zerg- aggressive style, mass production of cheaper units, macro intensive terran - middle ground, defensive style of play
EDIT: I am a zerg player, and you shouldn't feel like it's a weak race to choose. the balance issues will be addressed in future patches, probably won't affect your level of play, and if you do win against terran, you can brag about taking out a meching terran
and all the races require you to have amazing timing and not waste units, so practice, practice, practice!

i'd say that you played zerg fairly well. i didn't see the tvt game for two reasons, it was an hour long and 2, i don't know ANYTHING about tvt. So, couple things you could've done better was hit the terran before he gets critical mass tanks. second, tech to blings earlier, he didn't wall off, his marines would've been gone and you could've won earlier. saturate your main hatch thoroughly before transfering drones. and then saturate your secondary faster. sac overlords to see what unit comps he has and attack while he's still building his forces. take ur third faster. you had tons of minerals. Also, you had a chance to counterattack after he threw that marine force at you. all he had were tanks at his base and you could've run them over.

Play both Decide what you like better ??? win!

play terran, its the easiest race in sc2. zerg is under powered and difficult to play well against terran

Many thanks for the replies (brinbran you can watch it in 6x!) people. I'm learning terran for 2 months, if i blow balls by the end of it, i'll probably take up first love protoss (with whom I'm currently blowing balls with..)
