I was wondering if someone would help me identify a movie I saw about 15 years ago. Seemed fun back then, wouldn't mind watching it again.
Here are some details:
-It's an action-comedy. Likely came out in the early 90s, but feel free to expand to late 80s.
-Protagonist is a teen/student whose name is Corton, or Colton. Something or other. More like "_o_on", where each underscore can hold any number of consonants.
-Through some chance he becomes a spy for some organization. Gets a bunch of gadgets like shoes with suction cups on them to walk on walls, and a tuxedo that shoots some gas whenever he raises his hands (being held up with a gun). Also a car that can fire rockets. Of course, completely unexpectedly, he accidentally blows something up for comedic purposes.
-At the beginning of the movie he is with some woman in a bedroom. The woman is there to assassinate him by planting some poisonous scorpion in his room. As the professional assassin that she is, she accidentally lets the scorpion slip into her dress, while the main character is in the washroom. He tries to wash up really quickly because he assumes she is dancing erotically for him, when in fact she is trying to get the scorpion out. Because you know... anybody can make a mistake like that.
-At the end of the movie he saves his classmates/teacher, which get kidnapped by some evil guy whom that spy organization wants. He also saves his love interest (no, not that inept assassin woman) by climbing down a collapsing building with her using his shoes with suction cups.
-At first everyone thinks he died in the wreckage... and then like... he didn't... and stuff.
That is all I remember. Sounds kind of lame, now that I think about it, but the nostalgia is killing me. Any hints are appreciated.
