I thought energy replenished the same rate always, I thought units always spawn with 50 energy and the energy upgrade just added more to their bank so they can store a max of 250.

I remember someone saying that if you upgrade arbiter energy as the arbiter builds, then you can make stasis upgrade and the arby pops out and gets 100~ energy right on cue.
..and then I would, ya know, check em'. (Aka SpoR)

It was Nony who suggested that you should get arb energy first.

Also Lucky, 250 energy lets a defiler cast a swarm and then plague.

I don't watch my hands when I play I'm always watching the screen, that's why I never really knew, it's just how I naturally play. Although after you said that I became more self conscious and I do curl my pinky often to assign hotkeys. I don't know why lol. I think in TvZ there's alot more re-hotkeying for Terran so I do that in order to not have to move my hand position at all to assign/reassign hotkeys.

I think Nyoken does some really weird hand curl stuff sometimes for hotkey assignment and also I see various zerg players take their hand off the mouse sometimes for assigning new hotkeys most noticeably Machine. I find that to be insane! My hand is glued to the mouse during games even when I play as zerg.

i always knew about it. Didnt actually really do it until i saw a xellos fpvod where he said the thing a lot of terran players forget to research is vessel energy. Started getting it after.

i knew this... in onw of nony's FPVODs he explains how the energy upgrade helps with HTs, not only because they get 3 storms, but they spawn with like 66 energy and can storm much faster and save you.

I've known for a long time because units spawn with a certain percentage of energy, so naturally if you increase their energy pool the percentage makes it a larger number when spawned.

EDIT: Shouldn't need to say this but its 25%.
