I dunno why people hate ZVZ,me myself a Z player even wondered how ZVZ works.Only JD knows how ZVZ works ,no 1 knows more than what JD knows.Not even TL or other foreign pro zerg knows.

I dislike watching (I like playing it) ZvZ because...
- it's hard to understand (imo, but thats just me I guess) so I can't see the pimp stuff as good as the other matchups
- few amount of units and viable strategys which makes the games very much the same every time

i hate zvz because games are decided by 1 mistake or build order decision. I watch starcraft in respect for how hard the game is and how good the players are, not just OMG EXCITEMENT ZERGLIGNS

I don't hate ZvZ. I hate TvT because it's so frustratingly dependent on your dropships and tanks and every unit is so clunky and clumsy compared to zerg units.
ZvZ is fast paced and it is damn exciting to see Jaedong defend a 9pool with his drones perfectly and pull off crazy muta v scourge micro.
Besides, it's somehow easier to see unit colours in ZvZ than TvT. All you see is stuff blowing up and blue charon booster trails

I agree with Zoler... It's harder to grasp zerg overall and since zvz is so low economy and whatnot the slick moves are more subtile

I... like zvz better than the other mirrors. In all of them you can get BO wins, but zvz is far more aggressive.
That said, I would rather not watch a mirror.

Because the series total will be shorter than any before it meaning that flash's 3-0 rape of stork in less than 30 mins wont be the best anymore 
other than that the games go for like fuck all time and usally end in 3-0's or 3-1's so no epic 5th set, that and they do the same builds etc no variation in zvz means its hard to get excited for

It's more fun to attentively watch a ZvZ. But I prefer a TvT when I'm "background watching".
For me any matchup is fine as long as the players are good though.
That said I am disappointed in a ZvZ finals mainly because of how short 99% of the games are.

I think ZvZ games are usually fine, but when it comes to finals, they are simply too short and involve too much luck to fulfil the expectations and anticipations.

There's never a truly "epic" ZvZ like you have epic games in the other matchups. It's usually fairly clear-cut, and both finals will be over inside of 60 minutes when all is said and done. That's a disappointment.

zvz is fine to watch, i think i like watch tvt more though. Anyway, i think a lot of people hype up jaedong way too much. I mean saying "no one understands zvz like him" is bullshit. jaedong has a 80% winrate because he has been good at picking build orders, and has really fucking good ling and muta micro, and a few times he has come up with really good tactics in games, but so have other zerg players like yarnc and calm.

Because when I watch ZvZ I feel a giant hole opening inside me that gets bigger with each muta shot and each ling battle.
Meh, I guess it's because ZvZ truly is a matchup of finese and micro while for me big macro battles have larger entertainment value.

The only negative with Bo5 ZvZ that I see is that they tend to lack in mind-games. It's hard to break someone in a 10-minute match. Especially if your opponent suffered a build-order loss; that's not really something for them to doubt themselves for.

It's just because they are too short. That's the real problem.
What you lose in diversity you gain in intensity. Admittedly it's hard to understand but a good commentator could help with that.
They should make a ZvZ final Bo7 or Bo9 then you would have time for mind games, and you have a greater chance of getting some epic games.

Any particular reason why 14 minutes? And you forgot muta battles.
I'd say:
2 minutes of scouting/building
1 minute of quick zergling harass/battles
2 minutes of building
2 minutes of mutalisk vs scourge micro
3 minutes of mutalisk/scourge/zergling macro
5 minutes of larger mutalisk/zergling battles with random zergling attacks interlaced in it.
That's 15 minutes, good enough for a finals ZvZ.
And I love ZvZ.
