I believe the argument being made there was that society has created a system of assumptions and expectations that place obligations for labour on women without acknowledging the value of the labour performed. In case it were to matter, I believe he was putting words into the mouths of people who dismiss identities with the wrong ideology to criticize those people, like with people shouting down "Uncle Toms." Maybe I'm reaching but I'm trying to figure out what the standard is, one liners of Mike "turns fruits into vegetables" Pence are okay, would one liners of Mike "gas the kikes, race war now" Pence be okay, if so would it be because the target is on a certain side of the aisle, or because "kike" isn't as bad as "coon," or the context has to somehow outweigh the word, because you can't just call people "fruits" I would presume. What are the dimensions supposed to be... context, partisanship, offensiveness? Or just the last?
