The event which will take place on July 2-3 will feature the top four teams remaining from the regular seven-week season. Mousesports, Fnatic, Team Dignitas, and compLexity Gaming have all qualified to battle it out in a double-elimination playoff bracket for a portion of the $10,000 cash prize pot.
Popular gaming commentator Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham will be joined by the Gracken himself, Greg "IdrA" Fields, to cover all the action live as it happens! Additionally, for simply tuning into the broadcast, viewers will have the opportunity of winning countless prizes from Intel, Monster Energy, SteelSeries, Kingston HyperX, Intel Extreme Boards, Bigfoot Networks, and Split Reason Clothing.
The broadcast will be produced by OneMoreGame.TV and will be available at http://www.onemoregame.tv or http://www.twitchtv.com/onemoregametv. Evil Geniuses MCSL Season V Finals Weekend Hosted by Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham and Greg "IdrA" Fields
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. – June 24th, 2011. - Today Evil Geniuses (EG), North America's premier professional gaming team and a world leader in e-Sports, is excited to announce the Master's Cup Series Season V Finals Weekend to take place July 2-3. Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham will continue his hosting duties at the broadcast desk alongside Evil Geniuses’ own Greg "IdrA" Fields. Greg will be providing his expert-analysis and commentary for all the games of the Finals Weekend.

Since May 1st, eight of the world’s best StarCraft II teams have been battling it out for seven weeks in the hopes of qualifying for the Finals Weekend featuring the top four teams. Mousesports, FnaticMSI, Team Dignitas, and compLexity Gaming secured their spots in the playoffs and have now earned the right to compete for a piece of the $10,000 prize pool.
The format for the Finals Weekend is that of a double-elimination tournament with every series being a best-of-three match. Much like the regular season, each match will have a pre-determined set of maps with the exception of the Grand Finals. In the Grand Finals, the team that advanced from the Winners bracket will have the opportunity of choosing every map from the official map pool including the ACE map if needed.
