Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:
Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining
Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it. |

Anyone knows if the replays are being uploaded anywhere?

Great play by HuK, that build just makes it impossible to lose to that roach+ling, and even if your opponent gets those spores, you are not THAT far behind.
And its fun, Moon was 4-0 here, he was top8 in last MLG, finished second in IEM. But still, when HuK beats him he is "Just mediocore, playing badly, not even code a" Great plays by HuK today, loved all those games.

Really good for Protoss O_o However, every PvP is a loss for viewers in my eyes Although the recent ones were a bit better imo.
im also very happy that our brotoss are performing well, after a rather long time without real protoss competition except for MC...

Dreamhack Dominasian continues. I'm still seeing a lot people betting on non-Korean players winning this, strange.. And foreign players seriously need to learn from HuK, copying MC's Godlike builds alongside his GSL experience and oGs house practice, the guy is literally on fire. If a non-Korean is gonna give us a spectacle, it's going to be this Korean-trained Canadian superstar. This just psyches me up more for Thorzain/Naniwa in August..

Haha what does that have to do with anything I said? That build is popular versus zerg, MC did it versus July in the GSL 3 finals, Inca did it (though he lost) versus Nestea in GSL finals like every game. It's not a dice roll, MC still beat July easily even though his DTs did nothing but get a queen. Its for some potential damage, stops all-ins, and complete map control. You can 6-7 gate blink stalker afterward with some DTs thrown in and pick off overlords. Its probably the most common 3gate expand variation.

lol I face it quite a bit (mid-high masters), I've never seen it with sentry 2nd. I'm not talking about DTs, I'm talking about the way Huk did it to make it look like a 3gate expo.
When I'm v P you can usually tell even without the scouting that the Protoss is going either air or DTs... just based on units that pop out and gas timings (something Moon should've probably looked at from the back). This one is a little scary in that EVERY indicator is a normal 3gate expand and then DTs pop out.

If you can't get an overlord scout on the DT shrine there's almost no way you'll have the tech to stop the DTs unless you get an evo chamber super early for upgrades or something. I was wondering... isn't it sensible to get that early-ish? as voids, phoenix and dts can all be shut down with spores. If you really think he's going just 3gate expand, you usually wouldn't want to "waste" those resources and drones just to be super-safe. Obviously safe is good, but Moon thought he knew exactly what Huk was doing, therefore spending minerals on spores wouldn't have been a very good choice.

can anyone provide a link to DreamHacks' different streams?
maybe I'm blind but it is really annoying trying to navigate DH's site

HuK is code S man. If this was someone like NesTea he woulda scouted it. HuK is but hes skills arent for Code S, he will never advane to semifinals, koreans are just better. And Moon did great mistake and paid for it. Your compare is good, NesTea wount def this for sure
i don't agree with that "never" all it takes is a decently lucky bracket and HuK can win 3 rounds of his strongest match-up into the code S semifinals

Epic Base trade between Sjow and Hasu.

Well Huk is a guy who's trained in Korea predomenantly and Moon is a very mediocre Korean. No one was suprised Huk beat Moon and they're not suprised when he beats similarly mediocre players in GSL either.

Come on guys.

Bad day for Jinro, didn't catch his games, guess he was awful. I'm Glad Huk's coming on though; his GSL results have been improving and this shows it!
