Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of:
Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining
Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it. |

That's probably what he meant. That better be what he meant.

I believe InCa's build is slightly different, you have to look at unit comp and feel that there was no way DTs were coming out. Moon could've saw it with a drone scout, maybe try and pull overlord to back but he may not have felt it necessary with the info he got (sentry 2nd, scouted the extra gates).

Cool it with the comparisons, they're a bit far-fetched O_O

HuK got lucky. To be fair he couldn't really scout well except to sac an ovi, he could've counted the sentries though there were only about 4

White-Ra, Sase, Naniwa and HuK 5-0 series and 10-1 sets, followed by MC 5-0 series and 10-2 sets! In addition to that Socke, Mana and possibly HasuObs advancing, looking good for the protoss players.

no drone scout really hurt moon there, assumed the gas was normal time and then huks build looked normal. second zlot should have tipped him off to get an evo, though

Anyone knows if Thorzain-Machine is shown anywhere? TB stream seems offline.

Very clever build, perfect fake out.

DT expand is good because it's hard to scout, zergs just have to kinda guess and make an evo chamber. It's not a bad idea anyway because of air openings. It's the same reason protoss usually make a cannon when they sentry expand, in case of roach/ling all-in or burrowed roaches.

That was a really well timed build by Huk, i would bet we will see that on ladder tons from now on.

Grats HuK! Of course it was. On some level, you can argue that the build order win was more of a series/metagame win (HuK maybe thinking that Moon would try to do some kind of early pressure build).
Either way, grats to HuK for the win!

I loled so hard. Haters gonna hate.
Excellent exploitation of metagame right there, even though DT builds have been known as one of the counters to the roach/ling allin for ages. Even if it was scouted, HuK would've been on decent footing as Moon wouldn't have been able to move out until Lair.

How did Jinro lose to Osho 1-2 ? thats the biggest surprise ive seen so far

When your overlord can only see a normal 3 gate expand build, you do not expect DTs in yo base. Besides, Huk managed to get a sentry, and that kind of thing deters the overlord.

Seriously nothing against these guys, but when are people going to finally notice they both practice in the same house and are pretty good friends A LOT?

Amazing build from HuK. Extremely well-timed. I'm not entirely sure how he did that.
Is ThorZain vs. Machine anywhere? It seems like TB's stream is offline.
