I need to take a break from Starcraft, im a top 8 random master and have been playing too much and just getting worse.
I bought Minecraft a few days ago, it was really fun figuring everything out and stuff but got boring quick.
I'm not exactly sure what kind of game I want to play. Usually I always play the competitive games where everybody starts at the same level and the better player wins.
I think I want to play an MMORPG, but something new.. not like WoW/Rift. A futuristic MMORPG would be sick. Not EVE. I want it to be first person... I liked WoW a lot then hit 85 and got bored. Got to like 20 in Rift and got bored because of all the aggro...
I've played soo many games and I kind of want one thats not that competitive, something just for fun. Doesn't have to be an MMORPG, can be something competitive xD. Just want a cool game to play!!! I hate old games...
Any tips? <333

Give some fighting games a try. Super street fighter 4 AE, marvel vs capcom 3, and mortal kombat 9 are some popular ones right now.
Competitive and skill based.

Dwarf Fortress my friend, that is all you need.

Personally, I suggest something that takes the edge off of StarCraft II, not replace it with an equally intensive game. I see Minecraft didn't work for you, so let's shoot in another direction.
Have you considered singleplayer games? It doesn't seem your suit but they're both seclusive (meaning no pressure to improve or need to thrive above others) and gives you an enjoyable time.
What kind of games do you like or is it only MMORPG? Might I suggest Global Agenda then?

I'm not really a fan of single player games, but if its really good I will play it. I loved Mass Effect 2. I've usually on played FPS and MMORPG games, SC2 was one of my first RTSes.
I played Global Agenda a lot during the beta, tbh I'm not sure why I stopped playing... I think it was because the game was dying and there weren't a lot of people on or something. I'm not sure if this is still true.

It's a bit true, not going to lie. Just seemed right up your ally. Hm... off the bat, I can't really suggest anything for you. I'm about to play Bulletstorm, no idea how it fairs, but it looked like fun (so I figured, why not?)

Did you only play single player minecraft? There's a lot of cool smp servers out there and some great creative ones also. I recently found a new server called siegecraft which has blown me away.

Yeah I was just looking at Bulletstorm, Red Faction Armageddon, and Brink. They all look pretty cool.

I played single player and hosted a server with my friend and I. I joined a few public servers and they all looked mainly the same.. Tons of random people building stuff everywhere xD.

Hell yeah!
As for a MMORPG-ish game, what about Witcher 2? RPG without the burden of being an MMO.

Honestly, if Elder Scrolls came out, this sort of shit wouldn't happen D:

I think I only like RPGs if they're made by Bioware xD.

It's what Dragon Age 2 essentially wanted to be.

Seriously....after Skyrim comes out I won't even need to think about buying a new game for prolly years. (cept diablo III and SC2 expos, but those don't count xD)
Nobody will be bored and gameless!

You should either play LoL/DotA/HoN or BW/WC3. I would pick one of the latter two.
|
Meh, I don't really feel like playing a single player game right now. I want a game that I can pwn nubs in.
|
League of Legends.
Easy choice imo

You said that you played minecraft maybe you should try some cool mods for minecraft such as... Industrial craft heres the link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/184263-166-industrialcraft-v720/ So whats industrial craft. It's a mod for minecraft that lets you build all sort of new stuff like generatos, lasers, circuites, nuclear reactors, chainsaws, cables, windmills basiclly everything that has to do with electronics its pretty cool how much things you can do in this mod if you don't know how to fill your time I strongly recommend you to try it.

Easy choice imo It aint anything compared to Dota.
Get Dota if you can. If not pick up some random single player game that has had good reviews. Try FF7 :D

Well i dont really know why you have to play a game, why not find something else besides games until you feel like playing again?
But if it really has to be a game i'd suggest a single player one, something like Borderlands, Terarria, or Frozen Synapse.
Those would be my 3 picks. Just browse steam and pick a game.
