After working hard on YABOT this week, I found that I was not producing enough buildings. With that in mind, and focusing about my macro, I play some games on the ladder. One sympathic game on Tal' Darim, vs Protoss. Some MMMV let me win that game. Then, another PvT against gold toss, same tactic, still enough 'cause he has a freakin' bad macro. The next match is TvT ending up with the opponent dropping because of internet connection purposes (a silver, just sayin' because I like to know my MMR is rising). Finally, a fourth match versus a Protoss on Shakuras. Macroing like a beast (hell yeah), I try do drop his main but he has photon cannons everywere (fuck). Nothing to do here. I keep macroing, I upgrade on two engineering bay, take a third, a fouth, a fifth expand... The guy still is on two bases, he gets out (he's upgrades also but about the same as me) and just roll over my MMMV, even if I am at max supply and he's not.
I just dicovered imba toss. (on silver league with 470 wins... *rolling eyes* )
I think next time I'll have to build ghosts... Or maybe I should emphazise more on Starport production (I had only 4-5 Medivacs and 6-7 vikings)
He had about 4 Colossus, a few sentries and zealots and mainly stalkers. I stimmed, kited a bit the zealots (however my framerate drops down at this moment, 'cause my computer is shitty). The concave was quite bad however, since I just wanted to get away after destoying his third...
If you watch progamer TvPs, you sometimes see them go double reactor starport cranking vikings out... Need like 20 Vikings to one-shot a colo D:
Also try to trade armies before you get maxed, as the longer protoss has to make units the stronger they get, but bio works better in smaller numbers :/
Mmh, I heard that was about 13 vikings to OS a colossus... And when colossus are dead, vikings are useless supply... Maybe I should try banshees, like Polt or other guys...
Anyway, trade armies was hard since: 1- I was focusing on macro 2- He had a lot of photons around his base and was keeping his army inside. It would have been even harder...
