A 1/1 is the smallest a creature can be in MTG, however most small creatures that have lower power and toughness make up for it in abilities and low mana costs. Making them ideal candidates for early game combos/aggro/mana ramp.

You respected the themes so much, I've never seen a custom MTG set that well made before Also the quality of the pictures is just perfect, with many real magic-stylish drawings. Awesome flavour texts. And indeed the cards would be totally playable The relationships between the two worlds are genious and subtle. Just nothing bad about it : it's perfect. Perfect. My "favorite card" goes without doubt to John the Translator. GG !!!!!!!! *** Here is my small card suggestion : "Extractor Trick" (Instant) Rarity : Uncommon Mana cost : B (one black mana). Or could be U (one blue mana). Or G (one green mana) ? You cannot cast Extractor Trick if you control two or more Noob creatures As an additional cost to cast Extractor Trick, sacrifice a creature with a strength of 1 and defense of 1. Search your library for any non-legendary land card and put it into play tapped Put a 1/1 noob creature token into play. Flavour text : "it's all about larvae and supply management" No picture yet -_-; *** Relationships and explanation of the card, going from top to bottom of the above card description: - Extractor Trick - is obviously a required card name - Rarity : Uncommon - it is not that common to see the extractor trick, but certainly not rare. Uncommon fits the best IMO. Otherwise, common. - Mana cost of one mana + a small creature sacrifice, to stick to SC - 50minerals and a drone. - You cannot cast the card if you control two or more noobs - obviously players that are too noob don't extractor trick. Putting the limit to one instead of two noobs would make the card unplayable, especially for players using the set exclusively. - Sacrifice a 1/1 creature (probably a noob creature played in turn 1. IMO you should add a few 1-mana-cost 1/1 common noob creature cards in the set) : makes the card unplayable on the first turn. The card would be too strong if playable on the first turn, and the sacrifice mechanic make it stick to SC. Also, the card can be used to cycle a neutralized 1/1 creature (enchanted royal assassin or elvish piper that cannot cast abilities anymore ?), which is a little buff in case you draw the card middle or late game (where the card is less useful than in a opening hand). - Put a non-legendary land into play : that's the worker or queen or whatever that you get in sc - Put a 1/1 noob creature token into play : that's the cancelled extractor getting back to life - Flavour text could be a little more clever than this. This is a little too obvious of a flavor text A great card to draw in your opening hand, less great to draw in the late game. Can also be used to sacrifice a creature on purpose, combined with many cards (graveyard-related triggers etc). Hope it helps Edit : here is a sloppy example of my idea (need real image + BlackOrGreen combined mana + rarity icon + flavor text) :

Idea for a State of the Game card - similar to Etched Oracle: State of the Game (5) Artifact When State of the Game enters the battlefield, put a charge counter on State of the Game for each different color (White, Blue, Black, Red or Green) used to pay for its cost. (1) Put a charge counter on State of the Game. Target opponent puts a 1/1 colorless Noob Token into the battlefield under their control. If State of the Game has 5 or more charge counters, sacrifice it and draw 4 cards.
