First, my bad on my previous blog post about my (soon to exist) stream. Oops. I just wanted to post something there until my 3 months were up so I could apply but I guess that didn't work out. Oh well! No harm, no foul, etc. etc. It's all good.
Second, oh man! I just noticed that I'm close to 150 posts. Haha, how did that even happen? I remember when I first found this site (sometime after I've decided that I wanted to stop sucking at SC2...) Woo! (I see Jinro's post count and I just think - hot damn. I don't even know how many years it'll take for me to get up there!).
Third, I doubt anyone is even gonna read this. I am mainly writing here, I think, as catharsis. (Woo, SAT words. Yes, I am a lawyer. Yes, I do love large words.)
Back on the topic of SC2, I did manage to figure out how to fix my streaming issues - turns out, it was a reverb problem with SC2 - if you leave reverb on in sound options, it makes the audio sound like it is going through a fan with xSplit (oddly, FMLE didn't have this issue but FMLE has its own screen-cap problems). So, I have a few videos up, finally. I tried casting one of my own replays the other day and I was completely terrible. I'm a fairly practiced public speaker - I've done trials, won moot courts, etc. But casting and talking while trying to keep track of everything that's going on is /hard/. Even for an almost-compulsive ADD person like me that loves clicking around. It also doesn't help that I think the mic on my Razor headset is busted or something - it doesn't seem to pick up sound right unless I talk directly into it, and it isn't long enough to bend so that it sits right in front of my face either.
I may have to get around to sending it in for support or something. Or maybe I'll exchange it for something else - that is what I could use my BestBuy coupon for! A-ha! Brilliant!
In any case, drop by, say hi, if you'd like, to let me know that I'm not the only one reading this. And I will try to keep a better habit about blogging. No promises though.
