Battle Report
Set 1 Tal'Darim Altar:
- Cross spawns. Killer spawning red at the 5 o' clock (bottom right). Inca blue at the 11 (top left)
- Both opening 4 gate. Killer electing to make 2 more probes where Inca opens a faster 4 gate
- Inca slips in a pylon at Killer's third just as a stalker leaves, while being pushed back to his base with his starting forces (1 zealot, 1 stalker)
- Inca runs into the main with 4 stalkers thanks to his forward pylon and is able to take out a few probes, then retreats to Killer's natural where he has already placed
a pylon
- Killer, who had 2 stalkers and a zealot halfway across the map, turns around and sandwiches Inca's units at the natural, but Inca is able to push him back into his main
with warped in reinforcements
- Fights ensue at Killer's nexus, resulting in Killer losing a few more probes in the skirmishes they have, leveling the economic advantage he once owned
- Inca outnumbers Killer's stalker count from the first engagement and ends up taking out more probes the more they fight at Killer's mineral line. Killer GG's!
Set 2 Terminus RE
- Again cross spawns. Killer on top at the 12, Inca down at the 6
- Inca pops out a Zealot, per usual, but Killer opens with 2 gateways and takes his second gas
- Inca puts down 3 more gateways, going the same build as last game as Killer gets in 2 stalkers making a total of 3
- Killer takes out the probe of Inca that was lingering at his third and pushes across the map, meeting Inca's 1 zealot 1 stalker. Inca losing a zealot
- Killer then adds on 2 more stalkers and pushes into Inca's main
- Inca able to get out 2 sentries, force fields his ramp, cutting the army of Killer in half as both take minimal losses
- Meanwhile, Inca hides a base at the 3, which Killer is unaware of
- Both then transition into a robotics facility and then into robotics support bay (Killer canceling his twilight for the robo bay)
- Killer finally expands himself, but is at a 20 supply disadvantage
- Inca sets up a pylon outside of Killer's main as he pushes across the map with a variety of gateway units, an immortal and 3 colossus
- Inca forces his way into Killer's nat, Killer in a much better position with his units better spread than Inca
- Killer holds off a first push, Inca retreats to his pylon while warping in a much larger army than Killer can, the hidden base clearly showing its advantage
- Inca pushes in again, taking out the remainder of Killer's forces and as Inca pushes into the main Killer GG's!
Set 3 Xek'Naga Caverns
- Now in a 2-0 hole, Killer spawns top right at the 1. A single game from taking the series and moving into the semi-finals, Inca spawns bottom left at the 7
- Inca places his first pylon in the top left of his base and warps in a forge! He then moves across the map into Killer's base and walls himself in with 3 pylons behind
Killer's mineral line with superb placement
- Inca warps in two cannons as Killer hurries to get 400 minerals for a nexus at his natural
- As Killer's nexus at his main falls, Inca throws up a cannon at the top of his ramp while throwing up two gateways making a choke
- Killer pokes in and sees this, throwing up 2 more gates himself for a total of 3
- Inca takes both his gas and adds on more gateways for a 4 gate push while Killer takes out the pylons behind his main rendering the cannons useless
- Inca throws down a pylon at Killer's gold and pokes at Killer's natural (now main) while Killer takes out the cannons in his old main, allowing Inca to take out more
probes, adding to his lead
- Inca warps in units at his forward pylon and pushes in on Killer, electing to target fire Killer's stalkers which results in Killer coming out ahead
- But Inca rushes in with more stalkers, Killer unable to comeback from his economic deficit for the second time today and GG's!

IM_Nestea v anyproPrime
Set 1 Dual Sight
- Spawning at the 8 on the left side of this 2 player map, GSL Season 2 champion Nestea! And of course in the right side at the 2, the masterful anypro!
- Anypro throws down a pylon at his natural while pushing across the map with a probe and blocking Nestea's natural, forcing him to throw down gas and pool first
- Anypro then adds a forge and a fast nexus as Nestea gets out his first zerglins to chase away the pesky probe and learns zergling speed
- After ridding his natural of the probe, Nestea throws up his own natural as anypro creates a wall with a cannon and a gateway
- Nestea had left a single drone on gas and goes into lair tech, but then takes his drones again off gas
- The confusion is cleared as Nestea pushes across the map with three drones and places his two overlords perfectly to drop creep just outside of anypro's base!
- The drones morph into spine crawlers on the fresh creep and are able to take out the nexus and gateway of anypro
- Anypro adds a stargate to fend off the spines as Nestea drops a third at the 6 and adds a hydra den
- Anypro pushes across the map with 2 void rays and takes out the queen of Nestea at his natural, but Nestea is able to fend off the attack with reinforcing hydras
- Taking out overlords as he falls back to his base, Nestea follows with his hydras and some lings and pokes at the natural of anypro
- After being pushed back one time, more reinforcements come in to take down the nexus for a second time, void rays not able to save anypro this time. Back at home Nestea
adds a spire as his force outside anypro's base begins to build up
- Nestea, who had been getting +1 missle and +1 carapace, now has 1/1. He overwhelms anypro with his massive economic advantage and moves in forcing the GG!
Set 2 Metalopolis
- Cross spawns seem to be a trend in today's matches as anypro spawns on bottom at the 6. Nestea, a game up, spawning up top at the 12
- Nestea opens pool first and a late gas, whereas anypro opening standard gate, gas, cybernetics core, along with a second gas
- Anypro's probe is rushed out of the natural of Nestea which is immeadiately claimed. Anypro opening with a stalker after zealot, into a stargate
- Zergling speed begins research as Nestea saturates his natural, a void ray in creation for anypro
- Nestea with insane game sense throws down an evolution chamber and spores at his main and natural while researching +1 missle and getting lair tech
- Opting to expand, anypro pokes at the natural of Nestea with his void ray while he adds phoenix to his army and a forge
- Reacting wisely, Nestea throws up a hydra den while anypro adds a robotics facility and then a support bay
- Upgrades crucial, anypro begins researching +1 weapons as Nestea pushes across the map with a large hydra ling force
- Just like last game, Nestea is able to take down the nexus of anypro and without the time or economy to support any colossus is unable to match the forces of Nestea
- Wiping the protoss force from existence, Nestea outplays anypro in game 2 and anypro GG's!
Set 3 Crossfire SE
- Looking strong and looking to close out the series, Nestea spawns at the bottom left. Anypro, following the trend that two player maps often have, taking the top right
- For the third time in a row, Nestea throws down pool and gas first, following with fast speed and pulling all but one drone. Anypro opening standard
- The natural for Nestea goes down with ease and is able to slip a zergling into the main of anypro which spots a stargate
- Anypro immeadiately cancels and adds two warpgates instead as Nestea decides to throw down an evolution chamber anyway
- Playing cautious, Nestea plops a spore crawler at his natural just in case as well as adding a roach warden. Anypro elects to expand while adding a few sentries to
his army
- Fast +1 missles being researched again, and anypro re-adds the stargate he once cancelled while walling in his natural with a forge
- Nestea pokes into the natural of anypro with a large ling force, anypro reacting with many force fields causing him to drain some energy
- A phoenix pops out of the stargate and goes to scout for anypro. He also adds a second stargate while Nestea adds a hydra den and begins +2 missle in response
- Anypro creates a void ray and begins pumping phoenixes whilist he eliminates the overlord count for Nestea around the map
- Nestea decides to move out again with a large hydra ling army, anypro clumsily losing his sole void ray
- It looks as though Nestea could end it here but good force field play and an insane amount of phoenixes cleans up the first attack
- Nestea decides to continue the attack with reinforcements and again loses the battle to the massive phoenix army of anypro, forcing Nestea to retreat and reconfigure
his plan
- Anypro tries to push across the map with his phoenixes but is denied while he cannons up his natural, Nestea yet to take a third
- The phoenixes prove worthy as they take out a third assault from Nestea and once clear anypro pushes across the map and takes out both queens of Nestea
- Nestea finally throws down a third, which is scouted by the phoenixes of anypro on his way back from a job well done
- Anypro returns to the natural of Nestea and then to the main, completely destorying anything that he can pick up (specifically 75% of Nestea's drones)
- Meanwhile 2 void rays from anypro attempt to take out Nestea's third, but is stopped just short by Nestea's hydras (32 hit points)
- Anypro takes a third at Nestea's gold and finishes off the weak hatchery with two zealots
- However anypro cancels the out of place third while Nestea adds a spire and now has corrupters on the map
- Anypro showing the speed of his army though, manuevering around the flying army and taking out more drones and queens
- Nestea, realizing that he is behind, pushes across the map meeting anypro in the middle
- Forces clash and anypro force fields his way to his first victory of the day. With nothing left, Nestea GG's! Will we see an insane comeback from this protoss magician?!
Set 4 Terminus RE
- Now on the comeback, anypro looks to continue his strong play from last game spawning at the right 3 o' clock position. Still just a single win away from a match with Inca,
Nestea spawns at the top 12, our first non-cross spawn game today
- Nestea goes for a very fast 10 pool while anypro throws down a pylon then a forge at his natural. After scouting this fast pool, he then adds 2 cannons before nexus
- Realizing his damage cannot be done, Nestea decides to pull out of his agression and only makes 2 lings, while looking to expand
- Anypro also takes his natural while adding a gateway and both gas. Nestea still sitting gasless himself
- Now taking his first gas, Nestea also decides to take a third at 4th of the 9 o'clock. If anypro takes the watch tower outside of Nestea's natural, he would easily spot
this
- Anypro though does not appear to put on any ground agression any time soon as he adds two stargates and even begins researching +1 air attacks
- Nestea, unaware of either stargate, adds a baneling nest, roach warren, and begins +1 melee
- He also spores up his main and natural while adding a spire. Anypro tries to poke with 4 phoenix and gets a few drone kills while continuing to add void rays and phoenix
- A large amount of corrupters begin production for Nestea as anypro continues to poke at the main of Nestea which dwindled his phoenix count a bit
- The void rays push into the main with phoenix support and an air battle assumes, ending in an overall loss for anypro as Nestea adds many more corrupters
- Anypro retreats now as all his void rays are taken down. Nestea adds a fourth at the 3 o'clock and begins production of a huge baneling army
- The banelings push in with a good amount of zerglings and are able to take down the wall of anypro along with some probes
- Nestea also adds a fifth base, 3 of which anypro is unaware of and pushes in again with more lings and banelings
- Anypro holds for a second time while taking many casualties as Nestea techs up to hive for further upgrades and a greater spire
- Nestea takes out the third of anypro, retreats, then pushes in again with a two pronged attack at the second and third, still favoring lings and banelings. Anypro
is forced to cancel the third again
- Finally putting the corrupters to use, brood lords and a massive amount of banelings and lings push in to secure Nestea a spot in the semis. Anypro with the GG!
