After finishing our second In-House Tournament (IHT) tonight I have to say I am very pleased with how well everything is coming together. Despite some hiccups with late arrivals and no-shows, it feels like everyone within the clan is starting to pick up on the bigger picture and the team spirit.
If I am honest, this second tournament was a bit of a canary in terms of figuring out what kind of time frame future clan tournaments will require. Its operation tonight allows us to determine how to scale back, or ramp up, our tournament size. Moreover, it gives us a starting point to work from when contemplating holding an open tournament for public participation.
I think most people on the team have a vague understanding of what direction we're trying to progress towards. At this point it's just a matter developing the talent we have acquired and filtering out the players who do/will not fit in our current/future vision.
If I glance back in February when I created the clan for a few of my friends and look at our present condition I could not be happier with our evolution. The website holds a specific place in my heart as we have made greedygaming.enjin.com the best it can be on what can only be described as free economically and pricey time wise. The website has now become a core part of how we operate and allows us to maintain an excellent communication medium within the clan and outlet to reach potential recruits. The forum itself is impressive considering in the past 7 weeks it has well over 400 posts and roughly over 10 hits views a post and our Skype channel has become quite lively as well. More importantly, we have tied into important digital networks and taking advantage of streaming, twitter, and other various updates will become increasingly important.
The next overarching principle stick to will be increasing our SC2 community presence while stabilizing our team growth. All while ensuring all levels of gameplay steadily increase from our players.

nice full page ad popup. worth the $2 / month you get from it vs new users getting it?
get traffic, THEN monetize. otherwise you look scrappy.

what full page ad popup?
It's not monetized. Clearly you failed to read that it is actually a free hosted website, which means the advertisements are of zero benefit to us. Read, then please think before posting.

It is monetized, just not by you personally.
I never said that the advertisements are of benefit to you did I? I said that they are actually to your disadvantage EVEN IF you made money on them. Ends up that you don't, but that doesn't change the point. Read, then please think before posting.
Paying $3-6/mo for the most basic webhosting is the first step to your team being taken seriously. You would have more responses to this blog by now (and more than mine outside the clan) if your team was taken seriously.

Jesus it's just a blog, no need to be a douchebag AND look silly trying to cover your own mistakes. Teams get "taken seriously" through results not websites.

nath, you are clearly wrong. You thought he was making money off of it and after finding out he wasn't you continue to bash him anyways, trying to stay "correct" despite being wrong.
anyways gg <3
looking forward to it all!
