Did they also hate boxer and Nal_ra ? Or flash ? ... Yes, actually

And to add, MC does as well. Totally agree with Hot_Bid, our community sometimes needs to grow up a bit. Well played MC!

Translation: I hope someone can translate this and show it to non-koreans that are trolling about me. Whitera did the same build 5 times and I just countered it and what is cheese about that? he doesnt get the first zealot and I of course do proxy gate.. it was a 15000$ game and I did it because I was certain of it. Can't argue against that
wow, MC really didn't need to explain himself, he deserves the win fair and square, some ppl here should really think of changing their attitudes, the way things are going this will turn into a damn Halo community with angry 12 year olds swearing all the time. Seriously as much as i wanted white ra to win and was cheering for him don't discredit MCs achievements ppl. Good to see koreans more civilized than most of the forumers here.

No. WhiteRa should have at least got a bit of cash for his efforts. The stupid prize pool (winner takes all) ruins what was an otherwise amazing tournament. But yeah, reading the Korean response is always nice. 2nd place got 2250 Really? I read pretty much everywhere that it was winner takes all. Plus the prize ceremony just showed Whitera standing among all the other players. If there is a link to confirm either way that would be good. ALTHOUGH I Whitera and MC are both automatically in the main DH event, which is a positive.

Really bad impression from our community imo. I'll report them in the future if you ban them! Deal? I really hate that too... People harp all time about doing this and that for ESPORTS. How about not hating on players that actually play to win like they're supposed to. If you want "fun" games at the expense of competitive games, go watch funday monday.

It's called a vocal minority, and there is no use complaining about it, it won't effect anything.
MC should know this by now, as the top SC2 progamer

Really bad impression from our community imo. Unfortunately I feel like this is not the last time, especially with new ways of harassing players by twitter, ... I understand that some of them might be annoyed because they cheered for White-ra, but to go harassing MC on twitter (that's what happened as I gather ?) is so disappointing and shameful. Why would you do that, even if I really hated someone I would have never harass that person. Especially since MC is really, from all information available, very nice guy.
Really I can kind of understand posts in LR thread, people are blowing off steam, but the rest is just reinforcing gap between communities that otherwise would be shrinking and discouraging Koreans from participating in foreign events.

MC should know this by now, as the top SC2 progamer Seeing as he was very surprised by the positive attitude and attention of fans at DH event it seems this harassment is the other side of that and not present in Korea to such a degree. It would seem that foreign fans are more emotional and vocal which might have positive side, but also the ugly one.

White-Ra is my hero. MC won. White-Ra is still my hero.
quoted for truth.
white-ra did not expect a proxy gateway, therefore proxy gateway was the best strategy possible. choosing the best strategy is how to be the best
but white-ra deserves attention for an unbelievable tournament, i've always been a huge fan.

Wow its sad that MC felt the need to explain himself on twitter due to foreigners harassing him. Some people are so effing immature its pathetic..
Gratz to MC Awesome performance by Whitera

Nice read. Good to see that White-Ra receives some well deserved respect. I agree that it's unfortunate the situation that occurred after MC's win (explaining himself over twitter), but that's just how people are over the internet. While we may want to see the more conventional macro games, pro-gamers play to win and by whatever means necessary.

thanks for doing this! was wondering what the reactions to this tournament were.
