Still, I have to say it was pretty sad to see rainbow play in that lag, but people wanted koreans in an online tournament so lag was always going to be an issue.
I would love to buy a Seasonpass you get Vods no adds and Replay but I only want to pay via Paypal. I hope someone is really working on the Paypal option i dont want to miss out a whole season.

Did I just miss rainbow vs. morrow?

I thought one of the issues was players not able to get visas to the US? Why is this being played from home? Is it for the finals they come to the US?

Don't think you get replays actually, unfortunately

lag was fine at the end in 1080p. and about people complaining about spoilers in the chat: why dont you just watch the stream on fullscreen? its pretty obvious that there will be spoilers in the chat

The lag spoiled the first couple of games, but teething is expected and it did get sorted out towards the end. I thought inControl did really well but I haven't made my mind up about Gretorp. He was ok, but I'll reserve proper judgement for when he's casted a bit more and settled in.

There are several weeks of group stages, then the final 16 is live in the US.

I feel the same way. The casting will no doubt improve though, just by the sheer amount of games there will be played. I'm sure the casting will only get better and better.

I would really prefer fast VODs like GSL instead of an rebroadcast, luckily I watched most of it live yesterday but I had to wait for the rebroadcast to watch the last 2 matches instead of just going on the website and watching the VODs

VODs should be up soon. The games were really good
Also, to the OP, whats with the recommended games section? Shouldn't we be using polls, like for most events?

Glad to see the lag cleared up a bit and I could catch the tail end without too many issues (still bumpy, just not unwatchably so). However, there are still some things I would like to mention.
1. Hype: I didn't watch the first half an hour, because I was at work, so this might've been covered, but still: it's a tournament. Please hype up the players. Especially in round 1: everybody sent in their application videos. You could use the baddest/funniest things they said to allow us to get to know them. Present the matches a bit more. I know that the TLO vs. Vibe game for instance, could've been hyped a LOT more than it was. Everybody has been hating on Vibe since the day his participation was announced. Show some support for him, make it known that he's the underdog. He may have lost 2-0, but he played a good game 1 (game 2 I had given up on the stream). Give us interviews between the matches, not separately in VODs.
2. Overlay: you should really get yourselves an NASL overlay in which you can, at the very least, show the score so far. Rather strange that if you catch the stream in the middle you don't know what match is being played or what is going on until someone mentions it. Another thing this would allow you to do is plug your sponsors. I love the fact that it is entirely advertisement free, but I'd like it more if you have enough money to stay around for a while!
3. Match order: the feature matches, were, by a long shot, Moon vs. Grubby and Artosis vs. Sheth. One of the "hype" matches should always be streamed last (seeing as you're restreaming and aren't dependent on actual play order)!
Regarding the first 2 points: I know you don't want to copy the GSL and they have taken it to the other extreme (with wayyyy too long a wait between series and even games), but they have gotten a lot of things right. Another good example to look at would be dreamhack. They had an entertaining show with short timeouts between the matches in which they had really good interviews, some extra analysis of the match and a bit of hyping up the next match to be played.

there was like 25k for the first broadcast if i recall correctly(couldn't watch till the end) and about 250 page in the thread... the numbers are huge but honestly expected more for the opening day of NASL but then again NASL didn't make it as special as the GSL does their opening days

Im hugely impressed by the production value (overall) and stream quality. I think minor mistakes are forgivable and easy to fix. Thumbs up.
