With mech you really need to crush the protoss, if you have 4 tanks left, it's not engough. He can just warp in 10 zealots. Maybe on a map like Terminus Re, but idk.
Mech is good, you'll see. But terrans have to use the pros of their race. Meaning: PFs, turrets, sensor towers, upgrades for building armor, ghosts vs immortals, and so on. Aside from Jinro, I havent seen 1 terran try something like that. And Jinro owned MC with mech.
Jinro won one BO3 with mech against MC who played poor then...
There is a reason pro's hardly use mech, it is simply not that good. It isn't much stronger then bio in straight up fights, is much harder to get going, has almost no mobility and can be countered quite well by simple carriers.
Terrans were dominating up till now with nothing but T1 units all game long, so its no wonder not 1 terran knows how to use mech. Give it time, and youll see that mech is good.
Terrans are still dominating all the ladders esp koreans. They dominated just last season GSL. Its truly shocking terrans can cry imba or even that they are doing poorly with results like this. I am a poor player so don't have enough info to whine one way or the other but statistically it can't be argued who is most powerful.
Sigh, i so feel rain shouldn't be in Code S - Especially when players like MVP are in Code A. Kinda makes you think the tournament structure is far from perfect.
MVP had two chances and 6 games to prevent it, not like he was seated 4th in bracket with only one chance. I'd say he deserves what he got. RAIN got light competition and won't be S for long.
Don`t worry guys, MvP will be back, the guy has all the talent in the world. He`s got to take over the slump, stop playing tower defence, practice like a madman, get back on top of the ladder, Crush Code A, and get back on point.
Losira, you better not dissapoint me though!!! You`re the Zerg hope!!!!

Rain gets a lot of flack but the guy is a finalist. It can't ALL be luck.
Mech isn't bad, Terrans are so depended on BIO (still very strong as of now). Protoss and zergs have been at the end of the stick inventing so many builds to counter this and that. Balance its not the issue, terrans players just need more valid builds rather than going Bio all game against protoss or marines/tanks against zergs. Though what i been seeing is like those TVZ experts are weak against protoss and vice versa lol

This is a good point. Even though i despise Terran, and am glad MVP is in code A, i think Terran mech has great potential. While Immortals can answer anything the Factory can produce, what immortals are short on is range. alot of times tanks and thors can down the shields of the immortals before they can even close the range. Jinro beat MC with it and i don't think it was by luck that he beat MC but i think he did figure out a way to play terran beyond the norm.
but whatever, more protoss in the Code S next season, that's all i care about.
MVP is in Code A... wait what? That doesn't even sound right. Sigh. Oh well... that just means FruitDealer can win GSL6 now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While MVP played poorly last night and deserves code a based on those games in isolation, he doesn't deserve to be in code a overall cause not all groups are created equal. It's a damn travesty that mvp is in code a while rain is in code s cause he lucked out on getting the easiest group.
I mean flash loses sometimes too and it would be insane to bump him down to code a if such a thing existed in bw cause he lost a few bo3s.
I think there needs to be more protection for higher ranking players and I would redo how the up/down matches are chosen.
You can still have top 2 code a pick their groups first, but then I would like to see all the 3rd place code s players ranked by gsl points to be able to pick their code A opponent. So in this scenario MVP gets 1st pick at code a players so could pick rain for example.
Then once all the code a players are chosen, all the 4th place code s players ranked by gsl points then choose which group they want to be put in. I think that's a better way than to have it be chosen by random.

yep. they all 3 should be in code A together and Leenock should advance to Code S. Now that would be fair.
Okay, saying MVP should be in Code A is one thing, but thinking Leenock is more deserving is a fucking joke. MVP would crush Leenock.
Look at who MVP lost to - July (crazy playstyle, eventual Code S finalist), Alicia (likely 2nd best PvT in the world), and Genius.
The last two Up & Down matches Leenock lost to: Byun / LiveForever (both mediocre Terran), and NesTea / MKP. Obviously the latter two are amazing players, but both have been manhandled by MVP.
People have been giving MVP so much shit about how he played, but it really wasn't all that bad, minus a few errors here and there (particularly against Genius). Also, keep in mind that playing Genius immediately after Alicia likely hampered his play (with Alicia having played super aggressive).
The fact is, there isn't a single Terran around that has come up with a really solid TvP. I've never been super impressed with Terran like I am with Protoss (MC, Alicia) when it comes to how to play the matchup. Until something new is discovered from Terran (perhaps making mech somehow work), it seems the best Toss currently have the advantage in the matchup.

I hate this way of thinking. You're GLAD mvp is in code A because he's a race you don't like? and you just want more protoss in code S? That's so stupid. Anyone who wants choya in code S more than MVP is out of their mind. It's about the quality...not about the race -_-
