You're trying improve your mechanics and macro, but your opponent does something weird to throw you off. It happens to me all the time. But the mere thought of becoming good enough so I can tell what my opponent is doing and react with ease is a powerful motivator.

As several people have already said, once you get your first win, you'll get the biggest smile you've ever had and will probably watch the replay about 10 times.

My last four games I very nearly busted their nats and annihilated them with 5 hatch hydra (still lost all of them though cuz I fail at scouting for third bases...). Work on your build, it helps so much. This cannot be over emphasized.

Everyone and their mom is diamond and I heard there are some baddies in Master's that slipped through the cracks too. I'd say C+ and up is pretty damn good in BW. I think C is when you know what the hell you are doing. SC2 ranks... *sigh* I don't even think they really count at the moment. Maybe "Grand Master's League" will show the true skill level of the top players. Then again we already know who are some of the top non Korean SC2 players are just by looking at GSL qualifiers or the TOP 200 list.

What got me frutrated is that I didn't learn anything and that I panicked. I mean, the most valuable thing I learned is that 2 fu**ing carriers in your main will kill everything. But yeah, I know I have a lot to learn and practice in order to really play SCBW, and I definetily will! Thanks guys.

I won't give up, and I really wasn't expecting to win, but at least to know where their base was and seeing inside would have been nice xD What got me frutrated is that I didn't learn anything and that I panicked. By the way, if you're terran like your icon suggests, be aware the TvP is probably the hardest lowlevel matchup by quite a bit; you don't have too many gimmicky allins to fall back on and you have to be aware of every gimmicky protoss trick in the book (3gate speedzeal break, 2gate robo reaver, dt rush, bulldog, carrier rush, hidden 3rd, the list goes on) edit: oh and before you protosses get on my back for calling some of these things gimmicky, I'd argue that any protoss at D or D- level is executing these things in an all-in way, cuz be honest, how many times have you seen a reavering or DTing D/D- protoss macro properly while their reaver or DT is out?
