Zergbong~
Q. Comments on reaching the semi-finals?
A. A miracle has happened once again. It's pretty incredible and I think it was down to good luck that I got here. (T/N: LOL I just noticed what I did)
Q. Reasoning for describing it as a miracle and good luck?
A. I think I was able to read my opponent's setup well. To be honest, I thought I had lost the first set when I saw him expand which he turned out to cancel. I was sure getting tricked like that would cost me the game but somehow, i managed to fend it off. I also knew he would go phoenixes in the second set.
Q. When choyafOu was interviewed for the Ro8, he said zergs were having a difficult time against protoss even before the patch. How much do you think the patch affected your games?
A. I used the patch against him. Since phoenixes received a buff, I guessed he would base his play on them. I've never used OL drop before but I decided to center my play on that.
Q. You revealed your OL drop card today.
A. It doesn't matter. Even if I face protoss again, I have something else prepared.
Q. Like Season 2, you've managed to not drop a set.
A. I'm in the same situation but it'll be very difficult since I have a feeling that IMmvp will advance.
Q. According to IMmvp you like to QQ.
A. It's true since I've played so many games with him. I think if I get maps like today's, it'll be ok but if I get maps like Steppes of War or Delta Quadrant, it's going to be very hard. If IMMVP doesn't advance, I definitely feel like I can take the whole thing. The maps will be the key factor.
Q. Are you saying facing TesteR (TSL_Trickster) will be much more comfortable for you?
A. Yeah, better than facing IMmvp. Even though TesteR is good, I want to avoid IMmvp because he's such a beast. (T/N: What would a translation be without some embellishment? )
Q. Any closing words?
A. I'd like to see IMmvp do well and advance in style. IM fighting~ (T/N: Apparently his love of IM overcomes his personal fears...)

IM's Most Valuable Player!
Q. How do you feel after advancing to the Ro4?
A. It's a nice feeling to beat TesteR-hyung since I regard him as the best protoss player on the scene. It's been hard practicing TvP since protoss has become stronger recently but that makes this victory all the more sweeter.
Q. In the first set, when did you know TesteR had 1 gate expanded?
A. When my scouting scv got inside his base, I knew something was up due to the delayed timings. So I figured he had expanded at his natural.
Q. Were hellions part of your original strategy?
A. It wasn't in my original plans but after I confirmed his expansion, my ragemeter filled up. (T/N: Literal transaltion lol)
Q. The blue flame hellions you showed in the second set looked planned out.
A. This build was previously used by ST_August. I had heard good things about it so I decided to find out more from him. I knew TesteR-hyung favoured playing safe and macro-style games so I prepared this build specifically for him.
Q. Two QQers will be meeting in the semi-finals. (T/N: Read NesTea's interview for reference)
A. I think NesTea-hyung will be feeling differently inside. I've yet to see him lose. He QQs but still wins 3-0, 4-0.
Q. Both of you have yet to drop a set. Do you think one of you can continue that feat?
A. Whoever wins, I think that record will fall. I don't think we can maintain perfect records against each other.
Q. Score predictions?
A. I'd like to win 3-1. Going to game 5 would be quite discomforting and wouldn't be good for me.
Q. Do you think any problems will rise in practice due to the fact that you're teammates?
A. I think we both know each other's style pretty well so nothing will come as a surprise. I don't think they'll be any problems.
Q. Don't you think you can ask NesTea to conceed since he's already a champion and you're just starting out? (T/N: Tongue-in-cheek question)
A. I think all gamers are desperately determined to win. (T/N: Thanks KahunaNui for the help!) Even though NesTea-hyung has already won a GSL, I definitely think he'd like to do it again. It's only right that we play to the best of our abilities.
Q. What do you think about your nickname 'Jung-Jong King'? (T/N: Basically the first two characters of his name affixed with 'king')
A. It kind of makes me feels like the final boss or something so I like it. I've been getting called that on battlenet recently so I've gotten used to it.
Q. Any closing words?
A. I'd like to thank every protoss player who practiced with me. Also, everyone be careful not to catch a flu~ (T/N: What a nice chap)

The Gorilla Terran!!!!!!
Q. You've reached the semi-finals twice in a row. You must be feeling pretty great.
A. The games today went so quickly it still hasn't sunk in yet. It'll probably come to me on my way home.
Q. The foreign fans were openly predicting the results for today. Did you know about that?
A. Yeah, I knew. There was a poll on TeamLiquid (T/N: HOLLER!) with around 6000 votes and the result was 50:50. The difference was like 10 votes (laughs).
Q. A lot of foreign fans came to the studio today.
A. I had tunnel vision during the games so I didn't even realise so many fans had turned up. It only dawned on me after the series was over and I came out.
Q. You looked quite lethargic in the first set. Was there a reason?
A. My hands were frozen during that game so I wasn't able to perform well. Luckily the manager oGsTheWind gave me a hotpack (T/N: those handwarmers) afterwards which loosened my hands up.
Q. Did you expect EGIdrA to give up that quickly in the second set?
A. I expected a relatively fast gg after the bunker-in but I didn't know it would come that soon. My goal was to contain him.
Q. In the third set, it looked like you had the psychological edge. Your thoughts?
A. I thought the latter maps favoured terran so I knew if I took a game off IdrA in the first two sets, I would be in a great position to take the series. Since I managed to take the second set, I was in a very stable situation.
Q. In the fourth set, you held off a 6 pool. Did you expect it at all?
A. I had thought that IdrA might use it. When I heard the commentators cry out due to some poor soundproofing, I sent a scv out to confirm it. However, before I could do that, the zerglings rushed into my base and in the confusion I accidently cancelled my first marine when I meant to cancel the second barracks. Fortunately for me though, the delay actually managed to keep my marine alive long enough to get it to the bunker and clinch the win.
Q. Who do you want to face next?
A. I want oGsNaDa to advance. It's not that I don't like or want MarineKingPrime.WE to lose but you can't help cheer for those closer to you.
Q. Your popularity is through the roof. Surely you must have the ambition to go and stand on the Grand Final stage.
A. Everytime I go on stage it feels different but going to the Grand Finals will truly be a new experience.
Q. Final thoughts?
A. I want to thank my parents and also my practice partner Liquid'Ret, the manager who brought me hotpack oGsTheWind, oGsJookto, oGsTOP, oGsCezanne, oGsEnsnare and oGsJ. I also would like to thank my sponsors and Liquid'Nazgul, my manager, for personally looking over and analysing over 50 of my replays. Finally, I would like to thank the fans who tuned in today.

All hail the King of Marines!
Q. Thoughts on progressing to the Ro4?
A. I still can't believe I managed to advance after beating such a great senior player oGsNaDa. (T/N: He's not calling NaDa old in a bad sense. It's just a cultural word of respect for those older than you) However, since there are so many strong players left in the tournament, it feels like I've crossed a mountain only to come up against another.
Q. The games flowed to base races. Was this something you had prepared?
A. No, it wasn't part of my plan to engage in base races. It felt like oGsNaDa prepared for my style so it turned out like that. I've also faced base races on the ladder so I had enough experience on dealing with it. (T/N: Why am I not surprised? ) It is that experience coupled with managing to stay calm that helped me grab the win.
Q. There was a possibility of a draw in the first set.
A. I was thinking it would be a draw so I just looked at my monitor. When I saw oGsNaDa building supply depots (T/N: I don't remember that) and preparing to build a viking, I thought to myself 'Ah I could lose this'. I managed to win by just playing the game out bit by bit (T/N: Pun so intended) and was quite fortunate to do so.
Q. Was the cheese-rush in the second set something you had prepared?
A. My prepared build on that map was tank based macro-game. However, when I scouted a tech lab being added to his barracks, I decided to rush him.
Q. Were you nervous at all facing oGsNaDa?
A. Normally, I'm pretty confident in my TvT but since he is such a good player, I warded myself against underestimating him and practiced hard.
Q. Last time, you said you wanted to represent and win for team Prime. Do you think it's possible?
A. I think this season's final 4 has the strongest field of players so it'll be hard. However, I do think that I can win if I work hard.
Q. What do you think about the upcoming match against Liquid'Jinro?
A. Frankly, I wanted to face EGIdrA but I'm happy for Jinro that he advanced. On the flip side though, it'll be very difficult to overcome him.
Q. Final thoughts?
A. I want to thank BitbyBitPrime.WE for helping me practice. Also, since I beat one of the most popular players in oGsNaDa, I will work hard to show more entertaining games in the future.
