Just force your birthday celebration festivities to be a few days before, or after. =) My birthday isn't on a holiday, and I rarely do anything for my birthday, but when I do, it's generally not on my actual birthday anyway... It's generally on the closest weekend day to it =P (Although you're kinda double-shafted this year with christmas being on a Saturday.)

The one year I did it I realised parties are depressing and stopped caring completely. I like the picture tho, and happy birthday lol

And since my family moved every 1-2 years during the summer because of my dad's job I always started the next grade in a new school where I knew no one else. So while I went to other people's bday parties during the middle of the school year I never had one of my own. I used to feel bad about it but as I grew older I don't mind now. But because of this my birthday has never been a special day to me. I just like to spend it quietly like I used to with my family.
