Yes, most gamers prefer the feel of their own equipment and we encourage users to bring their own peripherals like keyboard, mouse, headsets etc..
EDIT: Original post updated, thanks for the question

No worries Chairman Ray, we will be hosting more casual tournaments for lower ranking SC2 enthusiasts. Keep checking back on TL or sign up to our website to stay informed.

If they didn't register and purchase their tickets in advance they won't be able to participate in the tournament. Infinite number of people can register for the event however only 64 paid users will be available to compete. + Show Spoiler +We do have some big plans drafted up for the e-sport community.. stay tuned

Are you set up for any commentating or anything set up for spectators? The tournament is capped at 64 registered and paid users. Participants can register and purchase tickets on our website by clicking here. For those that don't have PayPal or access to a Credit Card + Show Spoiler +(gift card - credit cards can be purchased at 7-11, macs, safeway etc) we will also be selling tickets at the venue and will make that option available in the next short while. We are currently in talks / looking for commentators (with experience) for a live feed and anyone can apply by sending us an email: info@ProjectXLAN.com We are looking at providing a full experience for those attending and those just spectating. As we confirm more details and little extras for the event we will be sure to update the post. I'd prefer to commentate before playing. I have experience.

Hey I might sign up as a commentator.

Well, actually we are planning a casual event in January however we are focusing our advertising on the major event in Feb.
K0Re it is great to see you may be doing something in January but we'd appreciate it if you plugged your event in your thread.

Skillz_Man Bed & Breakfast :D
For everyone else The Blackfoot INN (which is 10 minutes away from the venue by vehicle) is offering up a special rate for all Project X attendees for $99CDN +Tax per night. The offer is for the full weekend and that way you can have your own place to call home while in the city.

My bad, people were just asking and I didn't have it out yet so I figured I might as well give some sort of response.
Back on topic though, what happens if someone who does pay doesn't show up for the tournament? Who would get to take their spot (will there be a backup lineup I guess is what I'm asking).

Once the event fills up and is 100% sold out we will be opening up a waiting list or "Standby List".
Edit: Great question
