Thoughts on your team bringing home the opening game of R2?
After yesterday's games, I headed back to the practice house, but I didn't even get any practice in before today's match. Getting the win was pretty harsh.
Your last few games have been ZvP.
Bisu and Snow have totally different play styles, so I couldn't use the same play style against them. Sacsri recommended some strategies to me, and luckily they stifled my opponents. Sacsri was a big help.
Do you think you are suited to an aggressive playstyle?
Compared to attacking, playing passively and waiting for the enemy to attack just isn't as interesting. I enjoy the feeling of being able to take down my enemy with one fell swoop.
With today's win, you're on an 8 game winning streak.
I didn't even know I was on a winning streak until I read the news after yesterday's game. I'm having difficulties in practice, but my luck is excellent, it's really miraculous. Right now, what's important isn't continuing my winning streak but rather showing everyone my playing level.
What did you do during the rest period?
I constantly practiced for my OSL games. Bisu was my opponent, so I couldn't make do with just one day of practice. Since seeing the brackets, I'd been practicing for a whole month to take him down. Add on my participation in GStar, and I had more or less no rest at all.
Goal for R2?
We didn't do very well in R1, so in R2 we must perform better.
Anything else?
I forgot to say thanks to the coaches during yesterday's interview after my win over Bisu. Thanks to the coaches!

Thoughts on the team bringing home the first win of the season?
I've been knocked out of all the individual leagues, so I have to do well in SPL. Today's win has given me the feeling that my practice thus far was not in vain.
Did you prepare your strategy of proxy rax + 3 bunker beforehand?
Yes. I felt that if my opponent was horang2, he would definitely 12nex. Even though it didn't happen, my opponent's response to my strategy was not very good, so I succeeded anyway.
Why did you prepare a cheese today?
Almost every time I face a protoss, he 12nexes, and it makes me very sad. I haven't just lost once or twice to that type of opening. This cheese was a warning to my protoss enemies, so that they won't underestimate me in the opening.
How did you use your break?
I went to GStar, I rested, and I practiced. In the last 5 days I went to school to take midterms. I thought I wouldn't know a thing, but I did better than expected. Life philosophy [T/N unsure, that's literal translation] is the subject I did the best on.
R2 goal?
I've been eliminated from the individual leagues, so I must excel in SPL. In R2, I'll get at least 7 wins.

Thoughts on winning your opening match of R2?
I'm glad that myself and the team got off to a running start.
In the early game, you were at a great advantage, but in the midgame your opponent turned the tables.
I was too relaxed during that good situation, and I didn't apply enough focus. My opponent played very well, so he came back. That harass prevented me from staying calm throughout the rest of the match.
You still won in the end. What was the turning point?
I thought about GGing in the middle, but I suddenly felt that would be very weaksauce. I wanted everyone to see my perseverance. So I prepared a big drop, which was the turning point and my only opportunity. Luckily, my opponent's troops didn't know where to go, and they ran all over the place. I feared he would send them back to defend, but he attacked, so I was able to turn the tables again.
What was going through your head after the drop succeeded?
After my drop succeeded and I blocked my opponent's last attack, I still wasn't willing to believe I had actually turned the game around. My mind was revitalized and it helped me regain focus.
What did you do during the break period?
I practiced for the MST the whole time, and I ended up advancing. It felt like I practiced 24/7.
Goal for R2?
My goal is to do well every time I go up to play.
Anything else?
Today is my dad's birthday, so I'm very happy to win (haha). Happy birthday dad, stay in good health.

Thoughts on your team winning the first match of R2?
I'm really glad to break my own losing streak, and on top of that the team won. Opening the round this way makes me very glad.
There was a crisis when your terran opponent sent a group of troops to attack.
I was very anxious for today's game. I actually caught a cold today, and on top of that a vulture scouted and harassed me. But I got to 3 bases quickly, and I defended against my opponent's dropship harass, so I brought back the momentum to my side. I continued fighting and won. I don't think I played well, but even though the progression of the game was dissatisfying, I was content with the result.
Central Plains is gone from R2. Is that regrettable?
From the start, Central Plains had been my map, but by the end I was changing it up. But seeing Central Plains removed made me very sad. I achieved the most succss on that map, and I'm sad to see it go, but this new map is pretty cool.
What maps do you think are good for protoss?
Benzene is pretty good. Even though I lost a lot on Aztec, it's good for Protoss as well. Fortress is not bad, but to be honest Grand Line SE and Circuit Breakers are tough.
How did you spend your break?
I just got back from Pusan's GStar, and I discovered our break was over. I was constantly doing things at GStar, so I didn't rest muh there. In my free time, I practiced.
Goal for R2?
I can't let down my team. I must get a good win rate for the team so I can be an asset.
Anything else?
I want to thank the fans who have stood by me through thick and thin. Their messages of support for me have always helped me stand back up and given me the courage to pick up the mouse and keep practicing.
