- 3 Zerg NesTea / (oGs)Zenio / Kyrix(ZeNEX) - 4 Terran Ellenpage(Prime) / (oGs)NaDa / SlayerSBoxer / (ST)HopeTorture - 1 Protoss (ZeNEX)Genius Ro8 matches are as followed: EllenPage vs Kyrix HopeTorture vs Genius SlayerSBoxer vs NaDa Zenio vs NesTea Winners of the first 2 and second 2 matches will face eachother in the semi finals in a bo7. HopeTorture already qualified for the GSL 2011 S class by placing 2nd at the GSL1. May the Protoss god bless Genius to take it all.

Pretty sure Zenio will get to semis and Genius will beat HopeTorture to ge there too but Kyrix has a really aggressive and unpredictable style which makes him the polar opposite of Zerg play compared to FruitDealer. This could give Foxer serious problems. And from what I've seen Nada can beat Boxer. I really want Kyrix to do well. He is a definite underdog but beat some good players on his way up and has a very fun style to watch.

I'm watching Nada and Boxer at the moment (well, it's a break now, so I'm not :D) but I'm wondering if there is anyone who hosts torrents of those matches? I can't save video streams on this computer, and would really like to have them in the archive.

Out of the 3 First GSL tournaments, the TOP 8 of each tournament will aquire a Code S license, so we will end up with 32 Code S players. So far so good. HopeTorture, however, qualified twice under the RO8, so we only have 15 players with an S license, with a maximum of only 8 to come in GSL3, which makes 31 -> one missing. Does anyone know how this is being handled? My guess is ofc that we have to peak at the runner ups: There are 3 players which made it to the RO16 twice: oGsInCa, oGsEnsnare and CheckPrime. But 3 players don't fit Into 1 spot, and there is even 1 more tournament to come, with probably more S-players advancing to RO8 yet again. So, what if, after GSL3, we have 5 open spots left with 6 runner ups? Will there be something along the lines of a relegation tournament?

All that guessing lol GSL1 8 players directly qualified GSL2 8 players directly qualified GSL3 8 players directly qualified Makes up for a total of 24 players out of 32. Remaining players are unknown but speculation says that it will be for those who got the best points (in this case those who has highest ranks after the direct qualified players. Since there is a possibility of multiple people reaching the ro8 multiple times they came up with a simply system in my opinion. First see who got qualified which as of now are a total of 15 players (ITR reaching ro8 or better twice). Next GSL = 8 more qualified players but it may well be 8 players who already qualified then you'll have either a maximum of 23 different people that qualifies directly into the 2011 GSL code S tournament OR a minimum of 15 people. The way to determine besides those already qualified is by watching the highest ranks after those qualified players. People like IdrA who reached 2 GSL and got to ro32 and ro16 will be players who indirectly qualifiy for GSL 2011. So people who qualify multiple times for the open GSL will have the highest chance of getting the remaining spots for the GSL 2011 code S acquisition. Update on the ro4. The 4 remaining players are Ro4 match 1 FoxerPrime vs HopeTorture Ro4 match 2 IMNesTea vs SlayerSBoxer race distribution are: 3 1 0 Interestingly is that all of the 4 remaining players are all ex-BW progamers. Not sure about last season though.
