Hello there dear guests, i'm Thunderfist Diamond 1000+ Protoss/Terran player.
I have this bad habit of not being able to decide which race to choose. I play Protoss for 2 weeks -> I get bored -> I switch to Terran -> I get bored -> I switch to Protoss -> [and so on]
I should pick one race and polish it ! What to do ?!
Maybe i'll try to make + and - of each race, let's see.
First - let's put IMBA and SHIT'S OP aside. Imagine that it's all even and fun.
Protoss, as vOddy said "Easy to learn, hard to master":
+ Easy Macro + High HP units + Forgiving + Mobility + Easy upgrade options + You can do funny stuff with proxy
- Can't be too creative - Almost every Game 4gate or 3gate robo - Most played race, what means mostly PvP, PvP = crap. - Somewhat easily counterable
Terran. "Hard to learn, easy to master":
+ Just awesome units + Many possibilites of playing + Forgiving ? I'm not so sure + It's kind of appealing to me. + Good harass options + You can be creative + Easy scouting
- Little harder macro - Immobile
Ok i need your help here with minuses on Terran.
My first Blog post finishes here. Give feedback, give meat, give something.
Cheers.
P.S Looking for some practice partners Diamond & High Platinum only.

How is protoss forgiving?
Protoss could be creative in larger maps though (none of the current map pool), using stormdrops for example.
Terran, on the other hand, has everything.
If you arent attached to protoss, stick with terran. But if you are like me, BW Protoss player, stick with Protoss!!

Be a boss and play zerg. Even though I'm considering switching

P isn't forgiving anymore, and their only really high hp unit is the zealot now.
Stalkers are practically made of glass.... colossi are very delicate too, immortals are tough shit sometimes but get reamed by 6 lings.
I had your problem and chose P because
1. Best microable units of any race: Blink Stalkers, Forcefield, HT with feedback, DT's, Immortal drops, Pheonix with grav, ....mothership.
2. Choices between HT/Collossi/Stargate in nearly every game.
3. Warp in allows crazy mobility.
EDIT: also T isn't immobile at all anymore, they are maybe the most mobile in the game now barring tanks. MnM is crazy mobile with stim and medivacs, hellion/banshee/reaper 3 of the most mobile units in the game.
I chose P because while you can do all kinds of cute harass with T, when it comes down to it you just end up massing MnM every single game with a few random units tossed in...With P even if you mass gateway units you have 3 completely different units that all have different roles and lots of micro, and you get to dynamically choose which ones to emphasize.
