Why Cant I play offline for SC2? It wont let me log in as guest either. Blizzard put so much into battle.net they wont let us have fun when we cant connect online...and the new BNet sux anyway. This is their statement. "At this time, StarCraft II requires an active internet connection to play. This is stated in the System Requirements on the retail box, as well as our online System Requirements. Without an active internet connection, you will not be able to log in to Battle.net to authenticate your copy of StarCraft II. "
I know SC2 is about multiplayer gaming, but it still is an aweful way to go about the sequel to the greatest game on earth. Share your thoughts every1.
I'm glad I still watch and play BW. Lets Go Jaedong vs Flash!

It's to prevent piracy. It sucks for the consumer they did that but I can't blame them considering the alternative probably costs them millions of dollars.

You just need to validate it, then you can use the guest feature. Clearly you have internet access

Sometimes I travel to locations without internet. I have logged into my bnet account and played online. Where else do I need to validate my account. My friends are all having the same issue.

I moved this to the tech support forum since multiple people seem to be having the problem. Also renamed it.
