I got invited to a Starcraft LAN the other day.
Machine was there, Inka was there.
I didn't talk to Inka much, but I begged machine to stand over my shoulder and backseat play with me.
He obliged.
I will take this opportunity to say that Machine was an unbelievably nice guy.
He sat over my shoulder for my ladder games. At the end of the first game my opponent said, "you are really good at zvz"
And I said "Machine is standing behind me"
Any way, it was fun. I highly recommend playing with a pro player standing over your shoulder if you get the chance.

Exact same thing just happened to me. After 1 weekend of LAN i feel 10x better, and so much more confident. I was recommended a certain build in PvT and since the LAN its been working out great.

That's the impression i have of Machine, seems like a really nice guy.

I love Machine. I've known him since he started Broodwar and he's always been a really nice and friendly guy. <3

I've always wanted a pro to backseat game while I play, so I can get a solid idea of what they would be doing in my situations and insight into their thoughts while playing. And of course I always learn more doing than watching.

Just to bump with a sweet "Machine is a bro" story, at the MLG Raleigh event Machine was kind enough to chat with my friend and I for a bit. We also got to show him the 1.1 patch notes for the first time on my buddies Droid phone, and got his opinion on balance :D

He taught me an awesome zvz build (fast expand to roaches.) I feel 3x as good after playing with him.
I was so nervous not building my pool until that late.
I was like "but his is almost done"
Machine was like "shh, shh... it's okay..."
