If Flash crushes Jaedong again, it proves that Jaedong can only win with a power outage.
There is no way Jaedong can take on flash, especially on PRx2. JD's latest series vs Light proved that JD has trouble when it goes to late game against the very best TvZers out there. The only games he won, he won early on. And I have a feeling JD is the type to take it to the late game against flash on a shitty map just to prove it to himself that he can do it.
I'm rooting for Flash but something tells me Jaedong is going to emerge victorious. If anyone is able to "solve" late game mech, Jaedong is. I think we're going to see some epic games (at least I hope). Those Flash vs Fantasy games were epic.

I love the complaints Oz fans bring up. Rewatch that series.
Game 1 was the only blind 14cc Flash did (on Trialthlon, which is relatively safe). Games 2 and 3 were 14cc after scout. If JD hadn't opened with a 12 hatch, Flash wouldn't have responded with 14cc. It was just him reacting to his opponent's opening. Do you expect him to scout his opponent, see an opportunity and not act on it so JD's fans will be happier? both of these guys play to win, that means do what it takes.
Just as Flash learned the hard way not to blind 14cc his way through all his games, JD learned the risks of 12 hatch on 2 player maps vs Flash.
Okay, I'm gonna finish packing now. Go to bed, wake up at 5:30, watch the best damn finals ever, gloat/rage for a few pages, go off to college. What an awesome day
what i miss from TL back many years ago and now are for how ppl create these kinds of threads. before, it was almost demanded of you to make an indepth prediction and analysis on the matchups or ppl would be like, nice show of effort, way to try making the thread. now ppl just make pictures and a poll and its all good. just thought it was funny.
but other than that, FUCKING JAEDONG!! I BELIEVE. tie nada as GOAT

Hey, I wasn't complaining about Jaedong losing! I thought it was brilliant play by Flash, I just thought that it'd be nice if he varied it up a bit. Hell, I'd love to see him open BBS or something first game, just to throw Jaedong off tilt.
JD is going to win. And I say this for the simple reason that despite what everyone thinks, this map pool is very balanced. If these maps were truly anti-zerg, then we'd be seeing at least P=Z in PvZ, but it's still Z>P, P>T, T>Z - it's just that Zerg are spoiled enough to expect Z>>P, P>T (or P=T), Z=T since swarm season.
All these map "problems" might exist for lesser Zerg players without the mechanics to back up the fact that they're supposed to be good (*cough*calm*cough*), but we're talking about the greatest Z ever. In his best all-around form (perhaps his JvZ is not as dominant as in his peak, but his vT and vP have never been even CLOSE to as good as they are now). And Flash might be past his "slump" (a couple of months in which he won "only" 60%), but he's not the Zerg nightmare he was half a year ago.
That being said, if both of them would be at the peak of their abilities, it's a coinflip, but I don't think that's the case. JD 3-1, but the OSL might be a different story.

Either way, looking forward to an epic final.
BBS is too risky, and he didn't scout that early. With his opening (supply -> scout), if he sees a 12 hatch, he throws down a CC. If he sees a pool, he can wall off with 2 rax to block the lings and then push out. I'm actually glad there wasn't any BBS/4pool in the finals and I'm hoping this time around we get some longer macro games (like the 1st game of the WCG Korea finals).
