I was a P in bw and in iccup. I wanted to be a P in sc2 to continue the habit, but when I saw that I was paying more attention to the terran units on the sc2 site when they would do their habitual updates, I decided that T was the way to go, with the images of Boxer's dropship micro and memories of how impressive it was to use vultures and wraiths (I still remember the video where the two cloaked Wraiths shoot down all of the scourge as they chase after a single uncloaked Wraith).
I think, though, that I am succumbing to peer pressure. Perhaps I have a self-destructive tendency. I am feeling tempted to change races and play as the Zerg. I seem to always be attracted to the worst possible things. Do I have a mental disorder?
I never thought I would seriously be considering the Zerg. I never thought I'd see myself playing as them. They are just so disgusting! I have always hated them. I'm so confused and alone right now. Hold me...

It's okay, i was in the same position as you. I just learned to accept the fact that i can no longer resist the calling of the swarm.

Join the swarm, you will never be alone again!

Muahahaha, I love seeing the Swarm recruiting new faces muahaha! Seriously though, all 3 races are good! Have fun ^_^
|
It's not you that are changing, but simply the word; Do not be worried.
|
dont go to heaven, they don't have starcraft there.

Zerg = more things to do = more of a challenge = more fun than Terran imo.
Protoss is my main, but Zerg is hella fun sometimes.

welcome my son, again you are born anew- obey the over mind, and sacrifice yourself to the glory of the swarm

Haha, well if you are a glutton for punishment and really crave to be the underdog and have serious challenges, then yes choose Zerg.
I am a lot like you for some reason every blizzard game, I am most drawn to the character that happens to be the most nerfed!
In Diablo II I went Axe Barbarian. Who the hell goes Axe barb?? In WoW I started out Warrior when they were super weak, then I switched to Shadow priest because they were so damn OP, but the minute I leveled up my Shadow priest, they got nerfed into oblivion! Now I'm trying to get one of every possible character to level 80 so I can just pick and choose lol. SCII I played Zerg! I loved the Beta because Zerg was so damn fun and OP, now that the game is out guess what, Zerg is a joke, I don't even play multiplayer anymore =[
Anyway, thought you would like to hear that there are people exactly like you, that somehow end up with the worst possible decisions ...

I played Terran "competitively" in BW for the past few years...

I think that what pushed me over the edge was the comic in this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=146157
I FEEL SO HORRIBLE as a terran... she works SOO HARD
edit -- is it worthwhile to read the Z strategy page on the original liquidpedia? I ask because its very in depth on playing the race and if the mechanics and strategy are the same as in Brood War then I will want to take heed.

If you switch to zerg then you will in fact be going to hell whenever you are recalled to the home world of Char.
|
I also played P in BW, and play T in SC2.
No shame here :D

Personally I like choosing the hardest race because I enjoy the challenge (I actually play random now, but I played each race separately as my main race at one point in time.)

Dude, unless something has changed, dual BOTD eth zerkers are ridiculously overpowered. Axe barbs don't suck unless you are poor and cannot get good rune words.

play random. then pick a race. that's probably your best option.
