One of my favorite things lately is Hongik's Saturday Free Market. It's always pretty crowded, but it's also a great way to see a more diverse student culture with loads of unique items for sale (usually cheaply.) Last time I was there I met some really nice Korean punk guys and chatted to them a bit in English about the punk/rock music scene in Seoul. Since I've been here for a while I've become a regular at certain places which means added bonuses like being able to make imported book orders at my own discretion from a few of the bookstores (I did drop several thousand on one of them though so it's nice to be rewarded for my custom with this service.) I'm starting to appreciate more of the little ways life is more convinient here instead of focusing upon the negatives.

But he does make his reasonings known, cheap alcohol, lots of bars, no closing times, but don't worry, I'll make sure we drink from 6pm to 7am when you come. One of the best places to have fun...um Giyom, Elky and Rek basically have lived here, but I'm bias myself being Korean, but I've lived in Macau, Hong Kong, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Paris, Seoul and visited for extended period of time in about 10 different cities and can say, yes it is. But don't worry, we'll go to at least 8 different bars, clubs, restaurants over a period of 2 days so you can let me know. Fuck, CHILL, we ain't going to the country side, unless you really really want to. NO!, we're not! You can't force me to take you to the country side where there are no girls to look at, no bars for miles and karaoke (not that do all that, but I still like to see Korean girls in mini skirts as my past time in Korea). No Chill No! We can only have fun in Korea because that is why you would visit me and then you can write a post on how fun it was too ^^ CHILL!!!!!!!! Korea the land of your dreams is waiting for you. And because I say so, IT IS TRUE!

in dark times where girls are completely refusing to drink, flavored soju will always come through then once they get a little drunk, it's easy to convince them to drink the real stuff amateurs.

You missed out SNOWBOARDING (probabbly because you don't care about it) but I can't wait for it to snow, the slopes are almost certainly not the best in the world but I can see them from my school and know its going to be amazing this winter. If anyone wants to go watch some live Starcraft anytime in the next week or so give me a PM because its totally more fun been able to talk to other English speaking people and you can't always rely on meeting people if you go alone.
