Considering it looks pretty certain the Xel'naga are coming back(both from the hacked game files and the Duran stuff at the end of BW) I think the story is moving foward.
It is a little weird that they're revisiting Kerrigan's abduction and infestation in the cinematic, but I'm more inclined to think they're just doing a bit of filling out of what was a very bare bones SC/BW plot to set up the story arc of SC II. Much like what they've done with Warcraft in recent years.

Jim raynor is gonna kill Kerrigan in this game, and Heart of the swarm will be the return of the Overmind. A guy can dream can't he?
Also, I just realized at the end, that shell slamming into the ground, GAH SO EPIC.

Mark my words, Kerrigan is gonna save everyone from Xel'Naga with her Zerg swarms and eventually die. My intuition never lies.

I'M SO EXCITED, this story looks so epic.

AWWWWWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Even though the trailer looks awesome, I think I won't buy it. And I can't see why I should with this fucking license agreement still unchanged.
Come on, are you really willing to buy 3 games to play with your buddies from USA, Asia and Europe? You could do that already like 12 years ago, why claiming a charge for it now?? 180 Dollars or so to play a video game with your friends from Korea and USA? What other game claims this ridiculous amount of money?
Blizzard really arsed people this time. And I can't see me rewarding them for that, no matter how cool the cinematics are. It's a matter of principles. They just can't do anything they want with customers, or shouldn't be able to.

the second game being a prequel isn't so farfetched. Obviously blizz knows how it ends already so speculation won't change things now. What's going to suck is that we will probably get a cliffhanger ending to WoL, to which we will then nerdrage our opponents on battle.net. ^^
I hope they plan for a quick turnaround ala the Matrix trilogy, for the sequels. Two years or more between sequels will kill us hungering for the end of the story. The reason i'm not terrimad at the guys at bioware for making us wait for mass effect 3 is SC and FF taking my attention.

I'll buy it, enjoy it and wait for cross-realms
Easy for breezy.

I still fail to see how people who actually think about this feel like being ripped of and SC2 isn't worth its money. If that would be the case than I don't see any other game out there being worth it. Not even free games ;P
But hey if you can live with not playing this game okay. I'll have fun with my full game including an epic campaign, BNet (kinda epic ), multiplayer, map editor and so on. And on top of that I can expect 2 Add-ons which would've come anyways. Why would I care about the date they announce those?

? How does this affect my argument in any way?
I'm in Europe, so how does this "Sea Version" help the customers over here out? Or did I understand the whole thing wrong, if so I apologize.
Why do you have to buy a game for every realm anyway, if you NEVER had to ("people gonna buy it anyway, so we can do what we want with additional charges")?! This just drives me insane! Nobody even mentioned this issue one single time in 600 answers. Everybody's like "Oh I'm so buying that". I think this issue should get way more critical feedback, like in Korea.
I just don't understand why everybody is compaining a bit, but accepting it in the end. It could get a real trend in the gaming industry..."first time somebody paid 180 dollars to play a video game in the internet like every other game..why don't we charge that for our game as well?"
If this really works, I'll just wait for the day where you have to pay this ridiculous amount of money for EVERY better game.
Or am I so wrong?

so do u guys think Nova will be integrated into the story line at all? ^^ =D

Sick movie, but are we waiting for a game, or an animated movie? they should put more time and money into making stuff better than investing so heavy in these kind of movies

Cinematics play a huge part in making games great, no need to not have both.

really great vid. hopefully we ll see much more of this kind in the following days. awwwwww, i cant wait for it ...
btw i just got a mail stating, that Amazon Germany started shipping SC2 today and that the package should arrive tomorrow.

Don't worry you're not alone. I'm not buying this until cross-realm play is free or someone cracks it.

Well, that high latency shit. The same thing we had in BW and it was perfectly fine. We could train with everyone, no matter they were. Now this realm restriction feels like im in a ghetto. If i purchase the EU i'll be able to play only against europeans, which is bad coz 80% of my friends are from Korea or NA. If i wanna train for some tournament i'll just play europe, and if i wanna play some fun games with my friends i can play them even on a higher latency.
If they don't allow cross regional play just coz of latency, then their argument is very very weak. If technology doesn't allow us to play with minimum latency on all of the server, it's ok, some day we will be able, but no need to FORBID cross-realm play.
Unless it's about money, than it is a whole different story (right Activision?)

Stop spreading hatred in this thread of awesomeness. If you hate Blizzard that much I can just wonder what you're doing here.

Pretty sure the blonde guy in the trailer is Valerian Mengsk from the book series. He's awesome.
