Hello TL!
This summer, I'm taking a trip to Korea spanning from May 25th until June 23rd. I was wondering if any teamliquid members out in Korea would like to meet up and hang out or catch some SC games while I'm out there.
To give a little background about myself: I am half Korean a quarter Irish a quarter German. I can speak, read, write, understand Korean pretty well so getting around Korea isn't trouble at all especially since I've been there twice before. I'll be staying with family in Korea and family friends during my stay so I'm covered on that front. I live in California and have been following the SC pro scene for a while. My only claim to fame here on TL is writing a guide to reading Korean characters a while back.
Primarily the places I plan to be in Korea are Seoul, Pusan, and Ulsan. I have family and friends in all those cities but if any TL people live in other parts of Korea I have no problem traveling out to visit and get together.

@krndandaman: I'm just going as a leisure trip so I don't have a solid plan and just hope to visit all the places around Korean as well as see my family there. In Seoul I'm staying with my mom's friends who I've known since I was a child so that'll be cool and the husband is the PD of a show called Family Outting so I was hoping that I could go with him to see the filming of the show. Aside from that I got invited to go to a wedding and a friend in Korea wants me to go to Jeju Island. I want to see some live starcraft for sure though. What you planning for ur trip?

haha yeah GTR. They're still really nice usually. Last time I went to korea, I went to the set of one of the Korean dramas he was directing at the time and all the actors and actresses were really nice and such. I doubt they really cared though. I really wanted to go to the msl finals on the 29th but thats the day of the wedding so I don't know what to do! @.@!

im curious to know what your accent sounds like, mind if you record a 10sec audio clip of you talking  ? lol jokes i hope you enjoy your trip. If you watch 1 night 2 days a variety program on kbs on sundays at like 6.. they basically tour around korea and go to the best spots might wanna check it out if your willing because the places they go are srsly nice.

wow so many people coming to Korea end of May/June. LOL. a TL dinner might be in store, tho I think us nerds living here are a bit burnt out by last summer. We'll see how it goes.

As far as tagging along for Family Outting, I'm not sure, I'll have to call ahead and see if it would be alright.

I'll only reach Korea on the 13th June though. Actually going there for a summer school program, so I'll be there for 6weeks starting 13th June.
