The general progamer who has as much practice and experience as these two can take an opportunity/advantage and make a transition that keeps the momentum going. I think that Fantasy had nothing prepared other than a common bunker rush. It helped that Calm put his Overlord in a vulnerable position. After Fantasy's cheese worked he just kept the momentum by using complementary units that Calm would be least prepared for. In my opinion he just assessed the game as it happened and not the way that you implied it: "I'll kill his overlord, then I'll bunker cheese him and then I'll kill his hatch and then I'll send in vultures and I'll finish him off with wraiths. Perfect." Fantasy is not as smart as people would like to think he is. First of all, your assertion that fantasy had nothing prepared seems to have no evidence behind it, other than it being something "you think" is true. In any case, if what you said was true, in that Fantasy did not have something prepared and was able to make good decisions after seeing how his initial attack fared, that would make him a smarter player that can think well on the spot (not less smart, as you assert), rather than one that relied on preparation. But given how often Fantasy falls apart in strange ways, it's more likely that he is a player that heavily relies on preparation, including planning what to do several steps after the initial stages of the game depending on what transpired. Now you of course can throw back the idea that this assertion is simply "something I think", but if Fantasy was able to make good decisions based on what happened so far in the game, his games wouldn't end up the way the do. And it's a major weakness he has - something that I, as a fan of his, always hopes he can somehow improve.

Here's hoping either Midas or Free makes it into the finals.

Good thing Calm prevailed <3~! There's a slight typo where you say SCVs at Calm's natural as opposed to fantasy's natural. Unfortunate that Jaedong and Calm have to be on the same side of the bracket. Jaedong or Calm vs. Flash with Jaedong/Calm winning would be mighty fine though (Y)

Did anyone else notice how the player's faces grew in size with EPICness? Which is why banner-creator put a tiny MVP in Flash's huge face, Midas & JD are relatively big, everyone else is small, and he put Great's face behind a Hydra. LOL.

In fact, Midas is still statistically one of the best EVER at this fight, though obviously Jaedong is the better overall player during this era. Looking at the numbers, we have: TvZ Flash 97-40 (70.80%) Midas 79-37 (68.10%) iloveoov 79-38 (67.52%) So basically, if Midas is playing up to his old potential, and doesn't choke, this could be an incredible matchup. Midas could actually win!
