Abenson, you took the loss for the team, and that helped us win!
Once again, good game, thanks hosts (don't think I've mentioned that yet)
I'm looking forward to playing more and being able to be more active... since I really didn't do all that much in this game other than help plan the original DrH callout and defend myself rather aggressively. .

CJT.... I don't get their message either...
Edit: Scamp didn't catch me!... or did he?

Well gg, I wish that I could only have participated more. But that could of drawn more attention to me and I would of died even earlier.

I thought you were a bit too quiet to be honest. Playing blue/red roles requires a pretty fine balance between posting so much you become suspicious just by being there and being so quiet it's too suspicious. I thought you fell a bit far on the side of the latter.

Well that was quite an epic game :D even though i was ob, you could tell things got heated up during the "DrH crisis"

Well, I'm glad you all enjoyed the game so much. It was quite a learning experience for me too! Incognito deserves a lot of credit for putting up with me and being such a reliable co-host, come rain or shine or homework. You guys were great too, with your high activity and entertaining posts. More than once, I wanted to post something like, "Dance, my bunnies, dance!" because I was enjoying watching everyone run around in circles and figure things out. Thank you all for being so active and keeping the modkill count relatively low this game.
On a related note, I'd like to say that, unlike many of the more experienced and skilled players who no doubt were writhing in agony over this, I actually liked the emphasis you guys put on clues in the beginning. I loved how much attention people paid to every detail of the Day posts (like the caffeinated black tea, which was me poking at the old decafchicken coffee clues) and the different ways people interpreted clues. To Hobbes, I apologize if they seemed to incriminate you; we really weren't trying to get you lynched or anything!
Of course, I definitely agree that good clue analysis is harder to do well and less reliable than behavior analysis. But our clues did generate a lot of activity and drama in the beginning, which I think was a very good thing. Those posts also made excellent fodder later for behavior analysis. Indeed, I believe people would've been able to catch the rest of the Mafia from DoctorHelvetica's clue analysis posts, had they gone back to check whom he did or didn't accuse. The two work well together, and they both help and hinder both the Mafia (who can use clue analysis to hide and behavior analysis to find blue roles) and the town (who can use both to find Mafia and blue roles), which seems pretty fair to me.
I also want to mention that this game contained one of only two successful clue checks that I've ever seen. CynanMachae took a gamble, and it paid off. He then followed it up with a mistaken clue check, but I was happy that he got the first one right. I'd also like to applaud DoctorHelvetica for his bold play as Mafia. It's not an easy play to carry off, but I'm still impressed that he tried. When I was Mafia, my first instinct was to be as inconspicuous and quiet as possible. By taking the opposite route, he had a lot of people fooled at first. Had he been able to maintain it longer, and had the rest of the Mafia not exposed themselves by trying to argue against a tide of conviction, the town would've had a much harder time of it.
Anyway, sorry for the wall of text! This is why my Day posts were twice the length of BC's, no doubt. GG, everyone, and I hope you all come back and play again.

I'll agree that some people who are normally active aren't free during those times and some people sign up to play who really shouldn't be playing, but usually it isn't a huge problem except when people have finals, specifically in December (because that lines up for more people than the finals in the spring).

yes what Qatol said.
rematch?
hopefully the mods don't have midterm

I don't know if a "rematch " per se is possible, it would have all new "teams".

Either way, you might want to wait until BC's game finishes if only to fill your game. Remember, a few players in this game can't play if you try again (t_co because he's banned, jayme derfboy skronch because they were modkilled). Also, there are likely at least a few who will not want to play again or have external obligations to deal with.

It would work out extremely well for the town lol.

Yeah my school does trimesters... (APUSH third trimester sounds horrible, seriously...) so second tri finals are rolling up. I'd be interested in hosting/co-hosting a game if one starts up soon again.

Man dreamflower seems like such an awesome host; I wish I get the opportunity to play in one of her games someday

Hello other town, good job guys, you were way more active then our thread! I just read through of alot of your game, and you guys really had a nice system going with citizen, a confirmed green.
I'd definitely be up for another game, AS LONG AS everyone is active, our game got completely raped by inactivity.

I'm definitely up for a replay. Same teams, K?
