By the way, yeah, I usually use youtube annotations to cover up my replay progress bar. I find that stacking 3 on top of each other works best, one white, then one black, then one white. Make sure you extend the annotations to the end of the video... it's easy to forget and then the progress bar is only covered for 5 seconds Well, I actually didn't do this specifically for the contest, but since I did it I might as well post it, eh. I did the G5 vs Cloud series... game 1 has all the good commentating extras in it.. background of players, notes from interview, mentioning of brackets, etc... but people want to see action, so I guess I'll make game 2 my entry Here's the whole series, if you want to watch it. Game 1 + Show Spoiler + Game 2 + Show Spoiler + Game 3 + Show Spoiler +

X_X; I don't follow you. Obviously, they can't just link to their "best one" since they will have to cast a TSL match. If that's what they did, it's perfectly fine. The more the merrier. Not an attempt to disrespect the work the casters do, but it's not like it's way out of everyone else's league. It might take a couple of tries but i would say anyone with some dedication and some command of the language could make a commentary that could compete. It's perfectly alright to be creative about it as well - to add some flavour or wackiness. If moletrap doing a cooentary is going to prevent you from doing it, you didn't have the enthusiasm anyway.

And I fully intend to get one of my own done regardless of the competition. I don't expect to win but it'll be fun and I love the TSL!

COMMENTATING IS EASY. Don't worry what anyone thinks. People will always hate on you no matter what you do in life. Just get out there and start yelling and screaming about the game you're watching. Who cares if people make fun of it. LETS SEE SOME NEW COMMENTATORS GOGOGOGOGO.

Really can't speak for other commentators who regularly post SC vods on youtube, but for me i've taken time out to just do that one series for the sake of this contest. I think the contest exists to ultimately help the TL guys cover a lot of games where it would take them a lot of time and effort to get their main commentators doing ALL the qualifier games. So this should really help them out! -Vaul

I also mentioned that they were TSL games at the beginning of the first game, though.. (and in the video title, heh) What's the ruling on that? Btw, while I would at least agree with motbob that there is much more to doing commentary than most people think, I would definitely agree with Husky that it doesn't have to be hard and people should really give it a try. Heck, most of the reason why I do it is because it's fun to yell at your computer while watching a game Especially for the purposes of this contest people that are just having fun will have as much chance of getting votes as anyone else.

It should be one of the plugins that comes with chaos, make sure you go to config when you find the right plugin to check mark the Hide replay progress option.
