Growing up in the southern parts of the United States, I rarely saw snow. Maybe once or twice a year it'd flurry a bit for an hour or two, nothing major enough to stick. But whenever it did stick, it was basically a guaranteed Snow Day. I loved snow days. Staying at home, playing in the snow, enjoying a day off from school was just so enjoyable. Now that I've moved up north for college, I see snow all the time. Because the people up here are actually competent at clearing snow, we still have school every single day, even when it's snowing like mad and it hits like -30 windchill. Fuck the north. Fuck snow. Oh snow, how I hate you so. It's cold as hell, but man that snowman I made this morning was awesome. Be happy you have snow at all. In my country a decade ago, it was not suprising if it snowed up to a meter in height. Nowadays, we are lucky if it even falls once the entire winter.

You couldnt even walk along the sidewalk because the snow was soo deep. Basically there was no way to travel anywhere, unless you wanted to risk crashing / spinning out and ending up in the ditch. The road in front of my home still has not been cleared since the blizzard, and it makes for some good entertainment since im right beside a major highschool. I see student drivers spinning out left and right, and tons of accidents. These kids can barely drive when the weather is good, let alone when there is 24inches of snow on the road lol. Heres some pics.
