Basically Hiya was unable to deal any significant damage with his early advantage, while Hwasin had the right idea by taking the 3rd main. Hwasin almost lost the game for trying to take the 3rd main too early, but once he was able to survive that the outcome was never really in doubt.
Hwasin did his best to try to give away a won game though....

Hwasin had a huge economical lead throughout most of the game. I wouldn't have called him really behind at any point, as everytime he lost a fight he easily remacroed up his entire force. Hiya was desperate for minerals for the entire second half of the game. Hiya looked better off than he was because he was rocking the drop fights for the most part and pulling off some decent harass, but it was pretty much over once Hiya couldn't finish off 9 oclock.

damn hwasin the turtle vs hiya who at least tried to play v offensive.. sucks to see him lose like that but as mentioned before his drops were just horrible... he shoulda won that game so easy ;(
|
I thought it made sense. Hwasin played that out really well, stalling Hiya until his additional expos could kick in. After that it is only a matter of operational bases, and whether or not you can expand safely.
|
Actually if it weren't for Hiya losing all his tanks to SCVs after breaking into Hwasin's natural, he probably would've won this easily.

omfg please.. stop showing the replay.. just go to Lux V. Hwasin. Want... to... sleep...

hwasin has been getting wins on outsider like crazy, and most of them are ones where it looks like he is losing right up until 2 minutes before the gg. he's 5-1 on outsider now i believe

If BCs are used in TvT doesn't depends on the time, but on the map. When it's good for dropship use (which means many places to drop and not easy to protect) you will barely see BCs at all.

Last time Luxury and Hwasin played, they played a really sick game on Destination. Excited to see this one.

All I saw was Hiya containing him for awhile and then killing Hwasin's 3rd, and then I came back to watch and Hwasin somehow came back. :'D
