I blew one of my tires, got to this point changing it, and had to call a tow truck anyway. He decided he could change the tire himself, and basically set up a long wrench as you did. He started jumping on it. He was easily 250+ lb, and it didn't go. What followed was sitting for an hour while he doggedly hit the wrench with heavy metal things rather than tow the car away. Eventually it came off. He had some interesting things to say about my previous mechanic. | ||
